“I’m coming back to that time, that place, to you.”

I didn’t know back then, maybe I was used to being alone or I maybe I was too young…

It’s only now that I have realized it was irresponsible of me, but even though I continuously broke your heart, you still stayed and wanted to be by my side.

You still cared for me.

“Will you be alright?” you asked me for the last time. Though there was this nagging and heavy feeling in me, I answered “I will be alright” without second thought.

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw is the blue sky.

I breathed in and felt the fresh air enter my lungs.

I moved my hands and felt the grass tickling my skin.

“I’m back.” I said then started walking- more like running, towards our house, coming home to you.

After a few minutes of running, I can already see our small place…

I saw you standing in front of the stove, taste testing the food you have made before transferring it to a plate.
