Her mother entered the cafe with a wide smile and she knew something was up. She, only 22 had always stressed about relationships. Being single for 22 years and the only child in her family.

"Hello Yura, my beautiful daughter." her mother greeted as she gave Yura a pat on the shoulder and sat down across from her.

"Hello Mother. So what's this about? Asking me to meet you in a cafe this big. We usually just hangout at the mall." Yura replied back suspiciously.

"Guess what!?", her mother asked excitedly but she didn't bother asking. She stared at her mother with an annoyed expression and continued to sip her cup of coffee calmly. Her mother took out an ivory colored envelope. 

"This is it!" 

Her mother exclaimed as she kissed the surface of the card hard.

"What Mom." she groaned. "Stop embarressing yourself. Like seriously." She glanced around the cafe, and there was many people. She couldn't help but wanted to leave. But gathering herself, she forced herself to stay and listen to her mother blabber.

Her mother just grinned like a crazy woman. "This is very exciting. Here. Open it yourself." her mother replied and handed her the card.

Yura took the card and stared at it for a while. She looked at her mother who still smiled. She sighed from the feeling that she was getting. This is going to be very bad. She could feel it.

"Go on." her mother gestured as Yura bit her lower lip.

Taking a deep breath, Yura lifted the flap of the envelope and then grabbed the card. She starred at the cover, it had

hearts. 

Yura had a distasted expression. "What the heck is this Mom? Hearts! Is this a congradulations card from you? Aww, it's too cheesy." Yura fakely smiled. 

"Thanks but I'll read it at home." Yura replied as she began to close the card.

"No.Girl, don't be acting like that. Just read it. See, this is why you're single. When I was your age, I don't know how many boys I've already kissed." Her mother teased as she stared at her nails.

Yura sighed. "Alright." and opened the card. It read:

"Hello, I'm very excited to meet you. I hope that you

will find interest in me as well as myself. I heard you

were a very pretty and nice girl. I'll be waiting! 

                                                                  ,Sincerely Your date. 

Yura didn't smile, instead she became more annoyed. 

Angry

"Mom, how can you just set an arranged date for me without me even knowing? I'm old enough now you understand. 22 years old. I don't have many friends as you think. But I can take care of myself. Finding a boyfriend is no problem."  She groaned and glared at the sight of the card.

"You know, I'm hungry. I'm going to get something to eat. Do you want something?" But before her mother could answer, Yura left to the cashier. 

"But it's today" her mother mumble from behind.

Yura approached the cashier as she squinted at the menu above. "Hmm... That doesn't look good. What about that?" She couldn't decide. As she looked behind, she kept the line waiting, 3 people behind her. 

"Would you mind hurrying?" The lady from behind sounded quite frustrated.

"Oh, I'm very sorry." Yura apologized as she still couldn't decide. She glanced at the cashier who also looked annoyed. Yura smiled a little trying to cover her embarrassment.

"How about half a dozen French creamy dark chocolate truffles and a slice of the Greek raspberry mixed cheesecake with a main dish of the grilled chicken topped with cilantro and the Italian special sauce." A male voice suggested from behind. Yura looked behind,

 surprised

He was tall and handsome. Adorable ears too. She couldn't help but smile. He smiled back.

"Ah, yes that will do. Whatever he said." Yura replied to the cashier as she smiled embarrassingly. 

Yura stepped out of the line and wanted to thank him.

The handsome guy.

Him.

That dude right there. 

She decided to wait. For both her food and for him. After he paid, she didn't bother about her embarressment but approached him. 

"Hello. Umm... Thanks for helping me out back there." she greeted. 

"No problem." he laughed. "By the way, my names Chanyeol. I could tell you don't come here often." 

"Yeah, actually I just came with my mother." Yura smiled. 

"Actually, I think I've got to go. I have an arranged date today with umm this girl. I think Yura was her name." he replied trying to remember.

"Me!?! Today!?! Now?!? What?!?"

Yura said loudly as everyone looked at her. "Oh my gosh mom. Why didn't you tell me." she mumbled to herself. 

"Oh so you're Yura." he smiled widely. "Couldn't have guessed", he laughed. "I'll tell my mother to join you guys then."

"Alright. I guess." she chuckled lightly. And went to get her food. She arrived back at her table and couldn't help but smile. 

"Mom, he seems pretty attractive." she laughed.

"Of course, that is my bestfriend from high school. Mrs. Park." her mother replied feeling satisfied at their connection.

Yura stared at Chanyeol as he and his mother approached their table. She didn't bother touching her food which she usually thinks about 24/7. 

Food

"Hello Mrs.Park." Yura greeted as she made a 90° degree bow. 

"Hello Yura and Mrs. Kim." Chanyeol's mother greeted back. They two mothers sat side by side as Chanyeol sat across Yura. Both couldn't stop exchanging glances as the mothers conversed. 

"Yahh, Chanyeol. Stop being a creeper and just take Yura out. Have fun you two. Don't need to be shy. I wonder how two kids that have been single their whole lives will end up like." Chanyeol's mother laughed. 

"Yes, go ahead Chanyeol. Yura might be a boring girl so please take good care of her." Yura's mother replied.

"Ahh, yes Mrs. Kim. Alright mother." Chanyeol replied.

"Would you mind spending the day with me?" Chanyeol asked Yura shyly. 

"Oh, not at all." Yura blushed as Chanyeol raised his hand. She took it shyly as well and they exited the cafe shop.
