Thursday for Jaejoong
Thursday NightsJaejoong, unlike what Soo Yun had thought, didn’t even spare a glance at the other woman. He sped through the luncheon and once everyone finished their plates, he stood up and excused himself out. He had wanted to surprise Soo Yun and show her around Japan, but upon arriving in front of their hotel building, he got a surprise instead.
She was in the arms of another man, a younger man. Feelings of anger, jealousy, and sadness swarmed inside Jaejoong. It was like these days, he would get multiple feelings revolving around Soo Yun. Immediately, Jaejoong fastened his pace and started following the two. He didn’t mean to be a stalker but he couldn’t contain himself and just let them waltz away. It seemed wrong, because it was obviously Thursday and he couldn’t interfere with what she did even if he really wanted to. She had respected his days, so the least he could do was respect hers. It was the rules. But there was nothing in the rules that said he couldn’t stalk.
They first entered a restaurant and Jaejoong made sure to sit a couple tables across from them to not be noticed. He wanted to observe both of them. She had picked up the menu and frowned as she read the choices. The other man leaned his chin on his hand and only stared at her amusingly. He was enjoying her trying to read the Japanese dishes. He gave a light chuckle when he had enough staring and stole the menu out of her hands, ordering for them both. Jaejoong gave him a scowl and hoped that he died on the spot as he glared intensely at his head.
When they stood up to leave, Jaejoong quickly paid his meal and got up too. He didn’t even know what he had ordered and shoved into his mouth. He’d been staring at them for so long, his eyes burned. Jaejoong slyly walked out with them and made sure to keep his distance as they walked the streets of Tokyo. They were holding hands this time and it took all his effort to not stomp over there and rip the guy’s hand off. But his heart instantly dropped when Soo Yun casually looked back. Jaejoong held his breath and looked away, hoping she didn’t spot him in this mass of people. When it was safe to look up again, he let out a heavy sigh.
“Yuta,” he had heard her call him. Now, he knew his enemy’s name and it shall forever be etched into his brain.
“What?” she had tugged onto the sleeves of his shoulder and as he leaned down, she whispered into his ear. Jaejoong wanted to throw a brick at his face.
Yuta smiled at her, tugged her forward, and immediately entered a woman’s shop. Jaejoong stalled a few minutes outside before getting in after them. With his height, Jaejoong was glad he could peaked over the clothes rack and see them from across the room. Yuta had picked out a lovely dark green scarf and put it around her neck. Jaejoong scoffed. It seems like this man knew nothing about Soo Yun’s taste. But then seeing her touch the scarf gently and feeling its texture with a smile on her face, maybe it was Jaejoong who didn’t know. He frowned. What did that make all the gifts he’d gotten her? Did she genuinely like it? Was he good at picking out gifts for her as she picked out for him? He was too busy questioning himself that he’d almost missed the next move that guy made.
Yuta had grabbed each ends of the scarf around her neck and pulled her forward to him as he leaned into her, foreheads touching each other. Her face blushed red and so did Jaejoong’s, but with anger instead. Yuta said something to her and she turned to her head to the side, as if doubting him. He rolled his eyes and smiled, taking something from her hand and threw it behind him.
“Do you need help with anything, sir?” Jaejoong jumped at the voice next to him, almost releasing a curse from his mouth. “Sir, are you okay?”
“Yeah, yeah,” he replied and stood up straighter, seeing that Soo Yun and her new beau was already out the door. He wanted to go after them but the employee here was blocking his way.
“Are you looking for something for a special someone?” the worker asked as she darted her eyes left and right.
That’s when Jaejoong noticed it; he’s been hiding behind the and bra isle. “No!” he said too loudly, earning stares from others. He cleared his throat and restated, “no, I just lost something on the ground.” And immediately his gaze went to the floor and he started pacing around, going especially near where Soo Yun and Yuta had stood. “Ah!” Jaejoong jerked up, holding the piece of paper Yuta had threw back before. “Found it.” He smiled to the worker and she nodded back like a, okay-crazy-mister. Jaejoong shoved the paper into his pocket and rushed out the door.
He ruffled his hair when he reached the streets again and scanned the area for the pair. Jaejoong hissed through clenched teeth when he caught them entering another building across the street. He quickened his steps to pass to the other side, almost running into cars as he entered the big street. He took in a deep breath and panted when
