Kris hugs his knees as he takes in the scent of the jail for almost half a year. He accepts it even though it is hard for him because he’s not used to the stuffs and people here. He tells himself to just calm down whenever the other prisoners there are teasing and playing with him here. He tries to stay away from fights as possible. He wants to be with Tao now that Tao has taken him back.

Tao then enters the jail one afternoon and gives Kris a welcoming hug. He sits across Kris in the table they are in. He gives Kris his personally made lunch. Kris munches the food with Tao and smiles because Tao takes care of him and he always sends him lunch.

Tao looks at his loved one and softens, feeling how more time it is for Kris to suffer, he has suffered for many years, Tao thinks that Kris doesn’t deserve this because he is not his father, completely different. Tao then holds Kris hands when they’re in one of their serious conversations, “I miss you.” Tao says as he remembers how Chanyeol holds Baekhyun, on how Chen and Suho glare but still love each other, on how Xiumin and Lay know that they love each other even with their silent relationship, and on how Jongin and Kyungsoo keep up with each other even if they’re miles and miles and miles apart. Kris softens and Tao states, “If only I can stay with you here.”

Kris squeezes Tao’s hands as he laughs, “Oh no, you don’t want to. And I won’t let you. It’s not healthy here.” Kris shakes his head to tell Tao not to do things that will harm him because Kris is not there to protect him.

“That’s why I should really take care of you.” Tao tells Kris.

“I can handle myself here and as long as I know that we are safer now. I’ll only wish that time will move faster so I’d be free to be with you.” Kris wishes that he can control time and move to the future another 6 months to be with Tao.

“If only I can kiss you right now.” Tao pouts and then laughs because he is ridiculous. The prison won’t allow that, maybe. He looks around and glances at Kris who laughs, “Oh no one is stopping you, and don’t mind them.” Kris winks at Tao and Kris just challenges him.

“Challenge accepted.” Tao laughs too and kisses Kris on the lips, not minding the other people in the jail. Tao eventually bids goodbye to Kris after telling him to take care of his self.

Kris fights his urge not to cry because he misses Tao so much. He sits on the usual corner where he always goes to. He just sleeps on that corner like he usually does because he doesn’t have someone to talk to. Over his face.

That night, Kris wakes up with some arguments deafening his ears. He peeks on the rails and sees a guy filing a case to a guy who just caused a scene, he damaged his properties. Well, the guy’s case is not that much, and he can be freed immediately when one of his friends or family pays for the damages he caused.

Kris just rolls his eyes and goes back to sleep, the complainant is really noisy. And suddenly, he wakes up with arms around him. Kris pops his eyes open as he looks at the guy who’s hugging him right now. “TAO?!” Kris shouts which wakes the other prisoners up. They hush him down and Kris just never minds them but softens his voice, Tao is already awake. “What are you doing here?”

“Doro wie yeogin runway

Baby love me right! aha~” Tao sings but this is not Kris’ style, what the hell is Tao doing in here in the jail with him?!

Tao continues to sing, “O naegero wa mangseorijima

Tao smiles at him like being in jail with Kris is the most natural thing in the world, “Oh I just beat a guy and damage some of his properties, and I end up being in jail, and fortunately and as what I wanted, with you.”

Kris finds it sweet but , it’s not right, “Why’d you do that? What if you’re hurt?! And look at you now, you’re in jail!”

Tao smiles and takes Kris’ hands, “That’s exactly the reason why I beat him, in jail with you is the best thing that happened to me.” Tao says and Kris can only smile and hug the loved one who did this ridiculous thing just to be with him.

“You’re lucky I love you.” Kris says as he takes in Tao’s mouth in his. No one is watching and if someone is, let them be jealous.

Tao smiles as they need air to breathe, “We’re lucky that we love each other.” Tao hugs Kris.

“Better.” Kris says as he tells Tao that he won’t let go forever. And curiosity kills the cat, “Who’s the guy you hit?”

“Oh, the name’s LJoe.” Tao says and laughs with Kris, knowing who that guy is.
