When I sat down on my chair, someone poked me behind. I looked at Sulli. She gave me a surprise look.
"Waeyo?" I asked her
She blinked her eyes many times. She gave me a mirror. I looked myself at the mirror and realized I have a big eyebugs
"You slept late last night?" she asked
"Ne" I said as I returned the mirror to her
Our teacher went inside the classroom. Classes in the morning ended and started. Sulli and I went to the cafeteria to eat our lunch.
"Yah, why did you sleep late?"
"It's because..." I looked down
"Because?"
I looked at her "I miss my mom. She passed away a month ago and I really miss her"
"Mianhe"
"It's okay"
"I saw you with Jessica Jung a while ago and you rode on the same car. Are you friends with her?" she asked
Whaaat?!? Ottoke? I don't know what to answer in her question
"Umm.. umm.. can I trust you Sulli?" I looked straightly in her eyes
"Ne" she smiled at me
I took a deep breath "Jessica Jung is my stepsister"
"Mwo?!" she exclaimed
"Shh..." I lowered down my voice
"Chincha?!" her eyes went huge
I nodded
"Don't you know that she's popular here in school. Every boy fell in love with her because she's gorgeous. And every girl are jealous
of her because she's gorgeous and rich. But don't you know that she always got lower grades?"
My eyes went huge. This is the topic during our dinner yesterday in our house. And also the reason why my stepmom and appa had
an arguement
"Almost in all subjects, she got line of 7. Teachers keep on telling her that she got the looks but she didn't got the brains"
I nodded as a response. We stood up from pour chair to go back to our classroom.
"Sulli-ah, please don't tell anyone that Jessica is my stepsister"
"Ne. I won't" she smiled at me
It's already 10 pm and I'm still doing my homeworks and I'm studying about our lessons. While I was about to finish all
my homeworks, someone knocked on the door. I opened the door and saw my stepmom standing in front of me. She gave me a
smile and went inside the room. I closed the door. She sat on the couch and I sat back on the chair where I was seating a while ago.
"I thought you're already asleep"
"I'm still doing my homeworks" I smiled at her
"You're so hardworking. I hope Jessica's going to be like you someday. Studying all night and not always surfing in the internet"
I smiled shyly
"Are you done?" she asked
"Ne" I replied as I put my notebooks and books inside my bag
"Come" she instructed me to seat beside her on the couch
I sat beside her
"Do you want to know the story between your appa and your umma?"
"Ne" I replied as an excitement
--- FLASHBACK ---Jung Yoongwoon (my appa) and Hye Mi (my umma) met each other at the mall. Yoongwoon got attracted to Hye Mi but he doesn't
know that Hye Mi's mute. When he knew that Hye Mi's mute, he tried his best to learn the hand signals so that he communicate
to Hye Mi. Yoongwoon and Hye Mi became friends. Until Yoongwoon confessed his feelings to Hye Mi and asked her to be his
girl friend. Hye Mi became his girl friend for 5 years. In the middle of their relationship, Yoongwoon's parents knew that he has
a mute girl friend and told him not marry that girl but Yoongwoon didn't listen to them. Instead he fought his love for Hye Mi.
One day, Yoongwoon's parents told him that he should be marrying Hae Ra, daughter of his appa's business partner. He didn't
listen to them. He kept this arranged marriage to Hye Mi. He doesn't want that Hye Mi will know about the arranged marriage.
Until the day came that Hye Mi knew about the arranged marriage. Hye Mi decided to end their relationship. Yoongwoon
tried his best to stop Hye Mi from deciding to end their relationship but sadly, he failed. Yoongwoon and Hae Ra had the chance
to talk with each other. Hae Ra told Yoongwoon that just like him, she was also forced in this arranged marriage. Hae Ra loves
someone else. Yoongwoon told her to tell her parents that he loves someone else and not Yoongwoon. But Hae Ra said that
if she's not going to marry Yoongwoon, his appa will kill the one she loves. So, she decided to marry than seeing her love one
to be killed by his father. On the day of their marriage, they didn't know that Hye Mi was there. Hye Mi cried when they said their
vows to each other. After their reception, they went to the hotel. Yoongwoon was drunk at that night. And something happened
to them. Hae Ra woke up early in the morning, crying beside Yoongwoon. Hae Ra told Yoongwoon what happened and he
apologized to Hae Ra since both of them don't want to happen that thing that they made last night. After how many months,
Yoongwoon told Hae Ra that something also happened to him with Hye Mi. Hae Ra accepted his apology since she knows
that Yoongwoon really loves Hye Mi with all his life. Hae Ra was pregnant with Jessica and Hye Mi was also pregnant with
Xenia.

After my stepmom told me the whole story, I was amazed by their story. My appa really loves my umma and I only realized
it now!
"I think you need to sleep now" my stepmom said as she stood up
"Gomawo for telling me the whole story" I thanked her as I stood up
"It's better that you should know the whole story" she tapped my shoulders
"Does Jessica know about this?" I asked her
She gave me a huge eyes "Why are you not calling her unnie?"
"Oh, I forgot! Mianhe. It's maybe because I'm not yet used to it"
"You should be" she smiled at me
"Does she know about the story?"
She nodded
"Good night" she leaned down to kiss my forehead
"Good night... umma" I smiled at her
She smiled at me as she opened the door. She went out and closed the door.
She's like my real umma but she can speak while my umma can't I'm so lucky that I hav heer as my stepmom. She accepts
me of who I am. Jessica's too lucky. She has a good and caring umma.
