It's our History class and I'm kinda bored. I tried to listen to our teacher's discussion but nothing will come inside to my mind. 

Until, there's an anouncement made by our principal

"Students, mianhe for disturbing your class. I just want to announce that this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the seniors will have

their retreat in the Naksan Beach. That would be all. Gomawo and Good Afternoon"

"How much do we need to pay?" Sulli asked our teacher

"There's no need to pay. Your parents already payed the fee for your retreat when they payed for your tuition fee"

Sulli nodded

Classes ended and started. We'll be having our retreat in Naksan Beach? Isn't that great?! I love going to beach and we'll be staying

there for three days. I giggled when I thought knowing that our retreat will be exciting.

"Yah! We'll go to Naksan Beach this Friday morning! I'm so excited!" Sulli giggled

Sulli and I were walking. Gongchan went out from his classroom and walked beside me. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

Jessica, Tiffany and Hyoyeon went outside from their classroom. 

"Yah!" Jessica exclaimed

I turned around to look at her

"Wait for me outside and don't ever plan to stay away, arachi?" she said as she crossed her arms

Tiffany crossed her arms while Hyoyeon was chewing a gum

I nodded and we started to walk

"What did she say? You planned to stay away from your family?" Sulli asked

I took a deep breath "Ne"

"Waeyo?" Gongchan looked at me

"I just don't want to be with them" I replied

When we arrived outside the school, I saw appa's car coming towards me

"Gongchan-sshi, Sulli-sshi, I'll be going now" I waved at them and went inside to appa's car

They waved back at me. Jessica sat on the front seat.

"I thought you'll not go home early" appa said

I looked at him and looked away

"Appa, she wants to obey you right, Xenia?" Jessica said as she looked at me

"Ne" I mummbled

 "Then, that's good! How's school my princess?" appa asked Jessica

"Fine" Jessica kissed appa's forehead

I kept on looking at them. I pouted and looked away. Jessica's lucky, appa likes her more than me. I hope I'm Jessica so that I can feel

an appa's care for his daughter. When we arrived home, Jessica told my stepmom and appa that we're having a retreat this 

Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We'll not be staying in the house for three days. Appa and my stepmom we're excited for the retreat and

my stepmom said that she'll be buy clothes tomorrow for our retreat. I went upstairs and went to my room. I laid down in my bed and

took a nap. After a few hours, someone knocked on the door. I stood up and opened the door. I saw my stepmom standing in front

of me. She was carrying a tray with some foods on the tray. She went inside the room. I looked at the clock, and it's already 9 pm! I

never thought I slept that long. She placed the tray on my study table. I closed the door

"Gomawo" I mummbled

"Aniya. It's okay. I went here a while ago. I knocked on the door but you didn't open it so when I opened the door, I saw you sleeping 

and didn't bother to wake you up" she said as she sat on the couch

I sat on the chair and ate the food that she brought for me

"Xenia-sshi, have you ever feel that you don't belong here?" she asked

I stopped from eating and looked at her "Waeyo?"

She sighed "Donghae told me about everything what happened yesterday night. You planned to go back to Incheon because you

feel you don't belong here"

I took a deep breath "Ne"

"Waeyo?" she asked

"Appa seems like he doesn't care for me. Everytime he fetch us, he kissed Jessica's forehead and always asked her if how's

school it seems like, he likes Jessica more than me" I looked down

"If you have problems, just call me. You know, I treat you as my daughter. I got pity at you when I knew your umma died. I can give

you advices. Remember, what I told you? I can be your umma" she smiled at me

I stood up and sat beside her. I looked at her with teary eyes "At first, I really don't want to live here because I knew that I'll be 

having a bad stepmom like what I saw on movies but I was wrong. You were good to me. You protected me when appa really get 

mad at me when I went home late. Gomawo for everything"

I gave him a warm hug. Tears started to fall from my eyes. I let go of her. She gave me a smile after I gave her a warm hug

"I want to be good to you because I really like you as a daughter. You're so hardworking on your studies. You slept late because

of your studies. I want that kind of daughter. Doing all the best she can just to make her parents proud. I know your umma is proud 

of you that she have you as her daughter. Don't worry, I'll be your umma from now on. I'll do my best to care and protect you like what 

your umma did to you when she's still alive" tears started to fall from her eys

"Gomawo" I mummbled

She pulled me and hugged me tight. She rubbed my back.
