I stretched my arms and stopped my alarm clock. I sighed and sat up. It's a brand new day. The weather's good right now. 

I stood up and went to the comfort room. I took a shower and changed clothes. I went downstairs to eat my break fast. I saw

my mom preparing for my break fast. Every day, my day in the house is silent. There's no noise all you can hear is the annoying

noise you can hear from outside the house, the television or the radio. My mom can't speak. She's mute when she was a

child. My dad leaves us since I was young. I searched for my eye glasses and put it inside my bag. I often use my eye glasses

if I can't see things which are too far away from my eye sight. My mom started to do some signs so that she can communicate

to me. She said that I need to eat my break fast. I nodded and sat on the chair. I tasted the food and signed her that it was good.

She was happy knowing that I like the food that she cooked for me. I stood up from my chair and signalled her that I'm going to

the school. She gave me my lunch and hugged me. I kissed her cheek and waved at her. It's our first day of school. I'm now

a senior high school student. I'm going to graduate next year. When I was going to my classroom, someone bumped me. My

books and papers were scattered on the floor. He helped me in picking up my books and the papers scattered on the floor.

He gave me the papers and we stood up.

"Mianhe" he said as he bowed down

I nodded

"What's your name?" he asked

"Xenia"

"I'm Gongchan" he offered his hand

I looked at his hand with huge eyes and accepted it. We shook hands. After we shook hands, the bell rang. We decided to go to

our classrooms. We separated ways. While I was going inside the classroom, I saw Gongchan. He was seating beside the

window. My eyes went huge knowing that we're classmates.  Our teacher went inside with a huge smile on his face. He was 

wearing a blue polo shirt and a pants. He was wearing eye glasses. We greeted him a good morning and he greeted back. 

Our school teaches us how to be courteous. He instructed us to introduce ourself to our new classmates but one of my classmate

stood up and said that we don't need to introduce ourself to our classmates since we already knew each other. Our teacher

believed him and the bell rang. It's already time for our next class. We bid goodbye and he went out. Our first class in the morning

is Physics. Our classes in the morning ended. I went out from the classroom. Someone called my name, I looked back and saw 

Gongchan walking towards me. 

"Where are you going to eat?" he asked

"In the cafeteria. Why?"

"Can we eat together?"

My eyes went huge and nodded. We walked going to the cafeteria. We took a seat and ate our lunch. After we ate our lunch, there was

an awkward silence. He broke the silence.

"Is your house far away from our school?" he asked

"A little bit" 

He nodded. We decided to go back to our classroom. Classes in the afternoon ended and started. As I was going to go home, 

someone called my name. That voice is familiar. I turned around and saw Gongchan. He ran towards me. 

"Do you already have a partner in making our project in English?" he asked 

I shooked my head, answering a no from his question

"Aish! I really hate our English teacher! It's our first day school and she already gave us a project"

I laughed shyly

"Can you be my partner?" he asked as he scratched his head

I thought for a while and nodded

"When are we going to work on the project? This Friday is our deadline"

Umm... Where could it be? I keep on thinking.

"In your house!" he exlcaimed

My eyes went huge "No! Not there!"

"Please?" he begged. He knelt down in front of me. I was ashamed of what he did. Then, I decided.

"Okay. Stand up now" I lowered down my voice

He stood up and gave me a huge smile

"Gomawo. I'll be going home now. Bye!" he went away

I turned around and started to walk. It's our first day of meeting with Gongchan and it seems like we're already close. Myabe because

Gongchan and I have the same attitude. We can understand each other. When I arrived at home, I told my mom that we're going to

make our project with my classmate tomorrow here in our house. She agreed because it's all about school. I went to my room and

wrote on my diary about what happened today. I started to write a diary when I was still a freshman student. Welcome to my

messy life, Gongchan :)
