We Shouldn't Have Met
Don't LeaveBody sprawled on the queen-sized mattress, she jerked to life when her phone vibrated violently on her nightstand.
"Hello?" she answered lazily, wiping her sleep residue off the side of .
Luhan laughed cheerily on the other side of the call. "Hana-ssi! I have good news! Karl's back!"
Eyes widening, Hana jumped up, unclear of what she just heard. "She is? Great. I'll be waiting," she replied in a monotone.
Falling back, her impact was cushioned by the bed.
She closed her eyes. Her nightmare was just about to begin.
Unsurprisingly, Kai was once again waiting in front of their complex.
He was early this time, holding a plastic bag in his hand weighed by an empty container.
Murmuring to himself, he didn't notice a taxi pull into the parking lot.
"Should I just leave it here? No, I didn't bring a note; that's impolite. Maybe I should give it to Luhan saying he left it in the car so I ate it. Nah, too direct. I could hand it directly to Hana, but I don't like her and she doesn't like me and it'll be awkw-" he was cut off as a lady put her hand on his shoulder.
"Who are you?" Karl inquired, fingernails digging into his shoulder.
Wincing, Kai pulled away and glared at the perpetrator. "It's none of your buisness."
Her fingernail was dangerously close to poking out his eye. "Stay away. I don't like you."
The two were fiercely staring down each other; tension drifted around, causing onlookers to quiver.
A nervous chuckle came behind as Luhan seperated the pair. "C-come on guys! Let's be friends, okay?"
The duo directed their hatred toward the innocent third party.
Unnerved, he shakily opened the door, rushing in like a cheetah on steroids. "I'm home! Save meeee..."
Hana approached the doorway. "Good morning Kai. Hello..Karl."
The elder woman glanced down. "You haven't grown at all."
The latter looked away. "..breakfast's on the table."
Karl smirked, strutting her heels into the apartment.
Kai watched her before rolling his eyes. "What's her problem.."
Hana shrugged. "Dunno; she's been like that since I met her."
An awkward pause rose between them.
Clearing his throat, the male leaned forward, balancing himself on the doorway. "So..can I step in? I haven't eaten yet."
She stepped aside, bowing sarcastically. "Yes, my lord."
He kicked off his shoes and flicked the girl on the head. "Shaddup. I'm not that old."
