Kai knocked on the door. "Hyung!"

He pounded a few more times before the door flung open.
He was startled by the female face. "What are you doing here?" he exclaimed, looking past Hana to see if his group member was somewhere in the apartment.

She waved a hand in front of his face, blocking all possible ways of entry. "He's getting ready. Give him a minute."

Luhan peeked through a hole underneath her arm. "Sorry, Kai-ssi."
He adjusted his cuff-links. "Let's go."

Hana grabbed his wrist and placed a full plastic bag in his hand. "For lunch," she muttered before pushing him out the door and slamming it.

Kai scratched the back of his neck. "What was that about?"
Luhan shrugged. "I don't know; hurry, we're late!"
The younger smacked the older. "Shaddup. That's my line."


"...so your probation has been put off to 2 weeks. Take this as a free vacation," their manager cleared his throat.
Kai's eyes widened. "Wha-what? Why did you shorten it?" He wanted to thank the person immediately.

He hated owing favors.

The manager shrugged. "Who knows."
He led the duo to the door. "Now, don't cause anymore trouble."
 

Luhan groaned, stretching as he stepped into the hall. "Ahh~ Manager-hyung always takes forever to lecture us."
Kai was still confused. 'Why would anyone step into help us?' he scratched the back of his head. 'We're just pieces of entertainment, right?'
 

The duo was greeted by two ladies working in the idol department. "Hello Kai-ssi! Luhan-ssi!"
The dark-skinned gave a smirk, causing the women to blush. "Hey there."

The latter gave a cheesy grin. "Hi Erin and Senna! What brings you around here/"
Erin chuckled. "We were wondering if you would like to have lunch with us..?"
Luhan nodded. "Gladly!"
The younger shook his head. "Sorry; I need to pay someone a visit. Maybe next time." He motioned for the elder to give him the keys.

Kai strapped himself into the driver's seat. 
Adjusting the chair's position, a whiff of meat floated in the air. 
He peered behind him. The plastic bag was still there.

Gently lifting the container, he unlocked the sealed Snapware container. The scent grew stronger; inside was perfectly steamed rice with an assortment of vegetables cooked with beef. A small note was stuck to the lid.

"Remember to share with that rude friend of yours! I saved both of your butts this time.. With Love, Kang Hana"

He chuckled. 'What an awful thing to write,' he muttered, the message sinking in.
Picking up the pair of metal chopsticks from the bag, he said to himself in his usual egoistic voice. "She said to share, and Luhan is off flirting with some chick. It's mine, right? Yeah, it's mine." 



"Hana-ssi~! I'm home~!" Luhan called from downstairs.

She peered from the stairs. "Did you bring home the container?"
He scratched his head. "What container?"

Hana sighed. "Nevermind...dinner's on the counter."
