Bom POV

I desperately tried to fix the bun those demons made with my hair. My main purpose was to hide that my hair started changing their color.

“Aish!” It was all pointless. “Let me out!” I screamed and run to the door, then started thumping them vigorously until my hands got red and slightly injured because of the scratchy wood that door was made of.

I honed my hearing and put my ear to the door. Someone’s coming!

I grabbed a candle holder that was near, raised it above my head and stood in the position to hit the first person that enters this room.

The door opened and I was ready to flap the handle when I saw that short, female demon from before. I hesitated and that brought an end to my ‘prison break’ plan. Her taller, stronger companions grabbed my arms, the handle fell on the floor. They pulled my and made me sat in front of the dressing table.

That’s how the ‘wedding ‘ preparations started. They didn’t tell anything for the whole time but undressed me, even though I protested and put a black dress on me. It was beautiful but the material kept prickling my skin. Every time I tried to scratch myself they slapped my hands and continued the preparations. I gasped for breath when they put a steel corset on my waist.

“It’s to small! Stop it…” I tried to oppose and stop them with but one of them grabbed both of my hands into an iron grasp. All I could do was to suffocate and fight for each breath.

Next they did my hair. I closed my eyes and waited for their reaction at the color change but nothing happened. It made me wonder if they are even able to see with their own eyes or just follows my scent and hears my presence…

They brushed my hair very carefully and let them fall on my back and shoulders.

At last they pulled jewelry and put it in my hair, on my  neck and wrists. The necklace with huge red stones I wore earlier got switched with a small pendant. They were mumbling some spells and I didn’t see what exactly they did to put it on me.  I had to wear another pair of the most uncomfortable high heels in the world. When they ended putting makeup on my face, shoulders and even legs, I wasn’t able to recognize myself.

As a final touch they put a see through, black veil on my head. When I was ready they brought me to a chamber with only one chair in the middle of it and then left me alone. My legs hurt and I was barely walking but sitting with that corset on was even more painful.

Someone… save me…

Luhan POV

“Lu I hope you know that we’re going straight into lion’s den?” Suho asked as we were waiting in the hideout Chanyeol shown us. …but waiting for what? I should find Bom and crush that place into pieces. We had a perfect view at the dark palace form here. 

“I’m not forcing you to come with me.” I said to him. “Chanyeol-ah what are those huge lanterns that they hanged outside the palace?

“I’m not sure… last time I saw them was when our mother died. I think it’s like a summoning of our whole clan to come to the palace.” He answered.

“Something big must be going on there.” CL said.

Suddenly we heard a noise. A coach flew near our hideout. There weren’t any horses or other creatures that were leading it. The coach was simply floating in the air. Soon after many other vehicles or creatures with their masters came out of the shadow. All of us clanged to the ground.

“That’s our chance!” I said to others and focused on the last coach that was heading to the palace. I used my power and it slowly started falling down.

When I and Lay barged inside we found a fat old man dressed in  ceremonial clothing. I grabbed his arm so he couldn’t contact anyone “What is going on in the palace? Why are going there?” I asked him. He was sweating and breathing heavily.

“The weeding… “ he gasped.

“What wedding?!” I was losing my  patience.

“The prince…. Is getting married with an Earth goddess …… Please don’t kill me..” he said desperately.

“Bom!” I said in disbelief and looked at Lay. He made the fat man faint in a blink of an eye and when we hidden his body in one of the caves all of us got inside the vehicle. I used my telekinesis and we headed to the palace.

“Now what?” Lay asked when we landed in the place’s garden.

“Follow me.” Chanyeol said when no one from the fire clan was around. “Stay here.” He said, left us for a moment and came back with black clothes and capes. Even though my shirt was slightly torn in front, like this we could blend in more.

“Just follow the crowd.” I said and we walked inside as I think throne hall. We tried to stay together but I had to come to front and only Chanyeol followed me.

“We should find Bom.” I said to him.

“There are so many chambers here that there’s no chance for us to find her even if we split.” He said and around 10 monks started the ceremony. 

“…” I mumbled frustrated and clenched my fists and teeth.

“Where is your father? ” I asked Chanyeol and he looked around.

“He’s not here…”

Bom POV

I heard them singing some ritual songs. How can this be? Is there no turning back?

There’s not even a single window in here!
