Jieun POV:

I groaned as I woke up with a headache. I pushed myself off my bed and panted. Swallowing my saliva which burnt my dry throat, I coughed alittle. I placed a hand on my forehead, 'Its hot.' 

I sighed, knowing that I was having a fever. It happened the previous time as well. But I knew I couldn't stay home and I didn't want to worry Junhong. I pulled my blanket off me and stood up, almost losing my balance but I gripped onto my bedside table. Shaking my head, I went to wash up and get dressed for school.

Tying my hair up into a ponytail and ruffling my fringe alittle, I went downstairs to see Junhong all ready for school. "Morning Noona!" He chirped, making me smile. "Morning Junhong-ah" I said and ruffled his hair before sitting opposite him.

"I made you breakfast Noona. Eat up, then we can go to school." He said as I nodded and ate the French Toast on the plate in front of me before gulping down the orange juice.

Walking in to school and as usual, there were glares shot my way which I still have yet to find out why, but shrugged it off anyways. I was walking to my locker to grab some stuff but it seems like someone beat me to it.

"Morning Jieun." Kris said, leaning against the locker next to mine. I groaned silently, not wanting to deal with him early in the morning. I opened the locker and took out the things I needed before closing it back.

"Hey, don't you know its rude to ignore others." He said as he walked beside me. "Especially if that person is your saviour." He added as I stopped in my tracks. A chill running down my spine at the recollection of what happened yesterday. 

"Yes Kris?" I sighed and answered him. He smirked, "Oh ho, so now you decide to answer me?" I rolled my eyes at him and walked off to class with him chuckling behind me.

"Morning Jieun." Baekhyun greeted me as I sat down beside him. "Morning." I returned the gesture. "You don't look too good. Gwenchana?" He asked and was about to touch my forehead but I backed away. "Ani, I'm fine. Don't worry." I gave him a smile to reassure him. "If you say so." He eyed me but didn't probe any further.

"1,2,3,4 5,6,7,8!" The dance teacher, Ms Yang said as everyone tried to follow her. Keyword: Tried. Some girls were whining, some were trying their best. "Aish, why do I have to do this?" I could hear Sulli whine and saw her stomping her foot and blowing her bangs through the big mirror. I'm not the best dancer, but I'm also not the worst, right? 

"Well that was just the warm ups. Now, lets do some real dancing ne?" Ms Yang said as everybody sighed. "Right?" She repeated herself and everybody replied her, "Ne!"

"Jong In, Sehun, Luhan, will you please?" Ms Yang said as she beamed at the two boys who stood up and walked to the front of the room like it was normal and bowed to everyone before breaking out into a dance.

Wow. They were good. Like really good. Girls were squealing and fangirling while I just stared at them. Luhan who didn't look like the type who could dance was really good, and also the two maknaes were amazing. Their movements were powerful and in sync, overall, it was an impactful performance. 

"Thank you boys." Ms Yang said, delighted with their performance. The class clapped and cheered for the three boys. "Hmph, wait till we get to music class. I'll show those three." I heard Baekhyun huff and chuckled silently. 'Ah' I hissed mentally as I felt my head pang. I closed my eyes, hopefully to minimise the pain.

"Gwenchana?" I heard someone ask as I opened my eyes and almost fell back. Luhan's face was in front of me as he was kneeling down on one knee. "N-ne." I choked out, flustered at our closeness. He chuckled and stretched out his hand as I grabbed it and he pulled me up. "Your hand.. its warm." He said as I quickly retracted my hand. "Its cause its warm in here." I said. "Hm but the aircon is on." He mumbled but shrugged it off.

"Alright, I'll be pairing you guys in pairs." Ms Yang announced as some of the girls whined in discontent. "Songsaengnim! Why can't we pair ourselves?" A girl shouted, which I assumed to be Krystal, by her bright red hair which was kind of intimidating. "Because, I know you girls just want to pair with the boys for their looks" Ms Yang retorted as Krystal scoffed and flipped her hair.

Ms Yang began to pair the class off, leaving only Sulli, Me, Kai and Luhan left. "Luhan and..... Sulli." Ms Yang said, as Sulli cheered while Luhan sulked. That left me and Kai automatically being paired up. "Luhanie Oppa hehe!" I heard Sulli squeal and link arms with Luhan who was looking at me, mouthing the words "Help Me." I chuckled and looked at Kai who walked up and stood beside me. Now that I think of it, Kai and I haven't really talked much. 

"Now class, I will be assigning you the songs which you will be assesed on in two weeks time. The dance studio will be open for anyone who needs it, but book it with me first. Arasso? Now will bethe time for you to practice." Ms Yang said as she handed out slips of paper which had the songs we would be assigned on.

"Kai and Jieun, you two will be doing a y dance, Now by TroubleMaker." Ms Yang said as my jaw almost dropped. 'Now? By TroubleMaker? Three quarter of the song basically needs skinship.' I gulped. After Ms Yang left, it was an awkward silence between me and Kai. "Uhm-" We both started and chuckled, embarrassed. "We should see the dance video first." Kai suggested as I nodded in agreement.

It was even more awkward after watching the steamy hot dance practice video. "Uh shall we start?" Kai asked hesitantly. "Ah ne." I complied as I stood up with his help.

*End of Jieun's POV*

Luhan couldn't help but look at that direction everytime. "Oppa! Are you listening?" Sulli huffed and looked at where her partner had been staring the whole time. 'That Jieun again! Whats so good about her anyways?' She thought to herself while tugging on Luhan's arm to get his attention.

Luhan could feel the jealousy boiling within him. 'That should be me.' He thought as he watched Kai and Jieun practice their song together. He didn't like that fact that Kai had to keep touching Jieun. 'Aish of all songs why TroubleMaker's Ms Yang.' He cursed in his head. His song with Sulli was more of a sweet happy song.

But Luhan wasn't the only one glaring daggers at Kai. Kris who had his eyes set on the said guy and Jieun, was leaning against the wall. He had been paired up with Krystal, better known as the school's Ice Princess. But people would think they made a cute couple since Kris was also known as the Ice Prince. Their assignment song was TroubleMaker. 

"Oppa, shall we start practicing?" Krystal said while twirling a finger around her red hair which Kris found off-putting. "Dancing isn't my style." Kris said and looked away, leaving a huffing Krystal who looked like her hair was on fire, hehe.

"Hunnie Oppa, like this?" Luna asked as she did the dance step. Sehun nodded slightly but his attention was on someone else. He didn't particularly like the fact that Luna called him Oppa even though she was older than him.

The same could be applied to the other 8 guys who had been staring at Jieun practicing with Kai. Everytime Kai's hand would touch Jieun's skin, they couldn't help but frown, which they themselve didn't understand why.

School was over but Kai and asked Jieun to stay back in school so they could practice their dance, which Jieun could not turn down because she knew how importance dancing was to Kai and she didn't want to be the reason behind his D grade.

"Oh Junhong-ah, Noona will be home late so just have lunch by yourself and stay safe okay?" Jieun said through the phone before hanging up. She was glad she survived the day without passing out, althought she almost did a few times. Her head was still spinning but she shook it off.

She changed into an oversized tee and a pair of shorts before meeting up with Kai at the dance room. She was putting her stuff into her locker when someone apporached her.

"Staying back?" Luhan asked her as she nodded, "Oh ne, Kai wanted to practice." She replied before closing her locker door. She coughed alittle, igniting worry from Luhan. "Gwenchana? You seem alittle pale." Luhan furrowed his eyebrows. Jieun waved him off, "Gwenchana. I'm a strong girl." She said and chuckled, but Luhan had his doubts.

"5,6,7,8." Kai counted as he and Jieun moved together to the music. "Good job, we'll stop here today." Kai said as Jieun nodded , panting heavily while wiping her sweat with a small towel. They had been practicing for three hours already and Jieun's fever didn't seem to be helping. Kai passed her a bottle of water which she reluctantly accepted since she didn't fancy mineral water which tasted weird to her. She preferred boiling her own water.

Gulping down the water, she slid down on the floor, head spinning and throbbing. She closed her eyes to ease the pain and coughed alittle. Kai who had been watching her grew worried. "Hey, you alright?" He asked while bending down next to her.  Jieun nodded weakly and Kai stretched out his hand to pull her up.

"Woah." Kai said as Jieun fell against Kai, leaning on his chest, panting hard. Kai's arm was wrapped around her waist to steady her, his heart pounding against his chest. His other hand touched her forehead. ", you're burning." He cursed and immediately carried her over to the nurse's office, but the nurse was out so he had no choice but to attend to her himself. 

He laid her down on of the bed and went to grab a towel and a pail which he filled with cold water and added some ice cubes inside.Setting the pail on the table beside Jieun, he soaked the towel with the cold water before folding it nicely and placing it on her forehead. 
"Pabo, why didn't you tell me you were sick." He grumbled. "Mianhae." She whispered softly. Kai sighed, "Rest, I'll get our stuff and come back." 

Seeing her sleep so soundly, he couldn't bear to wake her up, but he had to bring her home. But the problem is, he didn't know where she lived. 'Luhan Hyung should know!' He remembered Luhan mentioning that he brought Jieun home yesterday.

"Luhan Hyung, do you know Jieun's address?" Kai asked. Luhan's ears perked up when he caught Jieun's name. "Jieun? Wae? Did something happen?" He asked worriedly. "Well she's running a very high fever and is sleeping now. But I need to bring her home so I need her address." Kai explained.

"Arasso, wait there, I'll come pick you both up." Luhan ended the call and grabbed his coat before calling his chauffer to drive him to school. He ran to the nurse's office and made his way to Jieun."Hyung." Kai called out and stood up when Luhan entered the room.

"How is she? Is she okay?" Luhan asked while staring at the girl who was fast asleep."She's still having fever but its gone down alittle." Kai reported to Luhan who sighed in relief. Luhan nodded and lifted Jieun into his arms, "Grab her stuff and yours. I'll get my chauffer to drive us to her house and then I'll drop you off at home too." Luhan said as Kai nodded and did as told.

"Who is it-Noona!" Junhong shouted when he opened the door to find two guys, and one of them was carrying his sister. "Who are you and what happened to my sister?" Zelo demanded and grabbed his sister away from the one who was carrying her into his own arms which wrapped protectively around his sister.

"She's running a high fever." Kai explained once again. Zelo eyes the two boys, finally recognizing one of them to be Luhan, whom his sister had introduced him to that day. "Come on in." He invited them in before carrying Jieun up to her room.

Tucking her sister into her bed and putting a wet cloth on her forehead, Zelo and the two boys left her room and headed downstairs to let Jieun rest.

"Who are you?" Zelo asked the tanner guy who was sitting next to Luhan. "Ah annyeonghaseyo, Kim JongIn, or Kai, imnida. I'm a friend of your sister's." Kai introduced himself to Zelo who nodded. "Well, thank you for bringing my sister home safely and looking after her." Zelo bowed in thanks. 

"You seem to be very protective of your sister Zelo." Luhan said. Zelo puffed up his chest, "Of course, she's my sister afterall. I won't let another bastard hurt her ever again." Zelo said. "Again? Did something happen to Jieun before?" Luhan asked, curious.  Zelo fidgeted in his seat, not comfortable with the topic which changed his sister. 

"A-aniya. Its nothing. Its late, you guys should go back, I'll take care of Noona." Zelo said and ushered the two boys out. "By the way, where are your parents?" Kai asked. "They live in the countryside. Me and my Noona moved here by ourselves to continue our studies." Zelo said as Kai nodded in understandment."Well then goodbye." Luhan and Kai said, bidding the younger lad goodbye. "Thanks again." Zelo said before closing the door.

Luhan had dropped Kai off at his house and was staring at the ceiling inside his room. "I won't let another bastard hurt her ever again." What Zelo had said had been floating in his mind ever since. "What did he mean by again?" Luhan asked no one in particular. Then he remembered something,  "Its just that Jieun doesn't like Kingkas very much. Its nothing, just something happened at her old school." It was what Jieun's friend, Sunhee had said to them. 

'Why do you hate Kingkas so much? Did a Kingka hurt you before?' Luhan thought to himself.
