Kyungsoo is a skeptic person. He doesn’t believe in ghost. To him, ghost doesn’t exist. It is merely a product of imagination, the embodiment of human fear and terror which is channeled irrationally. There is no ghost in the world so there is nothing to fear about.

He basically tolerates horror story and film. It is amusing to see people get scared of the ghosts and spirit portrayed in the movie. However, he could not stand horror show a bit. He hates it to his guts. It teaches people to be scared of something unreal. He hates watching the host visiting the so rumored haunted place and inspecting all parts in the house. He detests it so much to see the paranormal in the show jumping, running, screaming, acting as if he really sees the ghost, interacts with them, or even ‘fights’ with them, while Kyungsoo and other audiences clearly don’t see anything.

Nevertheless, he is never able to switch the channel. His brother Jongin is a fan of that kind of show even though he is coward and barely able to go to toilet by himself in the middle of the night. Jongin will always keep the remote attached to himself as the show is being played. Kyungsoo would rather watches Spongebob Squarepants, Keroro, or Doraemon than that lame horror shows, but there is just one TV to share in their flat and he never wins the remote battle. He has to suppress his depression every time Jongin hides behind his back and peeks and watches the show in fear. Not to mention when Jongin’s friends comes over and do the same thing as his brother does. His silenced scream literally could compete with the scream of the ghost itself.

Kyungsoo is tired with Jongin’s antic. It all needs to stop. Jongin needs to stop believing that the ghost is real, he needs to stop using him as a ghost shield. So tonight Kyungsoo will prove it to Jongin. His brother and scaredy-cat gang have to understand that ghost doesn’t exist. Never!
