Purple Rain

Description

He wanted both us to forget, to let go all the memories we once made together.

He cut the string which we once connected through the first sight and kiss.

He broke up with me, bidding a farewell to the love we once had.

He said goodbye to me, in the midst of purple rain.

Life for Aliando, a scholarship awardee from Indonesia, in Korea was never dull. It was great, especially when he met a handsome, raven-haired boy named Kim Joonmyeon that captured his heart in the first sight. His life was amazing, thanks to the love that he found when he was just as vacant and lonely in a foreign country.

Before Joonmyeon ended their relationship one day.

Stirred up in sadness, he determined to find the disappearing love of his life, only to find out a sorrowful truth before his very own eyes.

Foreword

Beep, beep, beep.

I took my cellphone and stared at the blinking screen.

Meeting with Joonmyeon at 3.

Sighing, I deactivated the alarm, sliding it inside my pocket. As I got up from my bed, I glanced to the mirror across the room. It took a while for me to stare at my own reflection there. My hair was neatly set, my bang was properly covering my forehead. My outfit was good already, the green sweater and not-so-skinny jeans made me look nice, I supposed. Aside of the black pouch on my eyes, which the only thing wrong I noticed from my look, I was ready to go. But deep inside, I didn't want to. I knew there was something bad would happen, call it an instinct, vision, whatever. I wanted to stay, not wanting to face him and hear it directly from him, but I had no choice. It's him that asked me to meet and I had said yes. I would never break a promise if I were not forced to.

Come on, just go Ando. It's the time already.

I air into my lungs and exhausted it again. I grabbed my keys and walked to the door, locking it with a loud clicking sound. I stood there for a moment, feeling devastated and longing at the same time.

I walked out of my flat.

Silently.

A story that popped out in my mind after listening to Like We Used To by A Rocket to the Moon. It is sad, just like the song.
