"Yoona! Im Yoona!" A blonde hair beauty waved her hands in front a frozen girl. Sighing,she yelled.

"Earth to Yoona!" Unfortunately,Yoona was still spacing out,oblivious to what's happening around her. Losing her patience,Jessica shook Yoona's arm vigorously.

"IM YOONA! THERE'S CHOCOLATE LEFT AND IF YOU DON'T WANT-"

"WAIT! Give me!!" She snapped out of her trance and jumped up. Upon realising it was a trick,she slumped back lower into her seat.

"I kept calling you but you were zoning out the whole time! What's wrong?" Jessica eyed her flustered dongsaeng worriedly. Stuttering,the doe-eyed girl shook her head nervously.

"N-Nothing."

"It doesn't seem like a nothing to me," Jessica was starting to get anxious. Sipping her cup of tea, Yoona cleared loudly, trying to avoid the panicky feeling rising in her heart.

"Er...I'm alright unnie,I'm alright."

Jessica narrowed her eyes suspiciously, but decided that she did not want to evade into her best friend's privacy. "My birthday party is tomorrow,so don't forget to come!"

"What?" Yoona was shaken to reality, and exclaimed in alarm.

"Don't tell me you forgotten!" Sica replied,aghast.

"No,no...I'm just a little blur now....okay,so where will it be?" She pretended to sound excited. Her heart sank; Donghae will be coming.

"My house of course! You have to come okay?"

Aish, what do I do now???

"Kyuhyun oppa!"

He was her last hope, as she prayed hard that Kyuhyun would agree to her 'plan'. Glancing back, he saw the panting Yoona,bending over and catching her breath. Straightening herself,her eyes looked straight at his.

"What do you want." His voice sounded cold. Taken aback at the blunt tone, she pleaded him. "Um...I was wondering if you would do me a favor..."

"I said what do you want." Kyuhyun felt a little guilty for making his voice sound so menacing, but he couldn't help it. Pouting, she continued nervously.

"I'm sorry...But can you help me? Do you know about the party at my friend-"

"Jessica Jung,I know." He nodded.

"Okay,so can you accompany me there?" Finding her pout cute, he couldn't help but gave a gruff chuckle.

"So you're asking me on a date?" He teased. Turning a shade of red, she blushed furiously. "A-A-Ani-"

"I know I know...I was kidding," Kyuhyun laughed. "But why? Won't you be going with Jessica-ssi?"

Yoona shook her head vigously. "She has to entertain her guests...And I can't keep tagging along." She explained. "And I'm afraid of meeting--"

"Donghae."

For once, Kyuhyun's voice was really bitter. Turning to him in shock, Yoona started. "How did you--"

"He's your enemy, right?" Choosing not to ask her about the unexpected kiss, he chose another reason. Even though he was bitter, he also couldn't help but feel joy when she asked him to go with her.

Feeling relief, Yoona sighed inwardly. "Yeah...Yeah I guess so. So you're going with me?"

"Okay." Kyuhyun agreed a little too quickly.

 “You okay Yoong?”

“Yeah I’m fine…Just really bored.” She sniffed, playing and fiddling with the hem of her skirt. Shaking his head in amusement, Kyuhyun pointed towards a table of drinks.

“I’m gonna go get some drinks…Do you want any?”

“Nah, no thanks.” Yoona nodded nonchantly. She was loss in my train of thoughts, when suddenly she heard a familiar silky voice from behind.

“Fancy seeing you here.” She said in a mild tone. Glaring at her, Yoona snorted and scoffed. “What do you want Yuri-ssi?” She was way too tired to play any games with her, let alone talk to her.

“Nothing…Nothing at all. Seems like you have gotten more…confident.” Yuri jeered, glancing idly at her perfectly manicured fingernails.

“What do you mean? What are you trying to imply?” She said sharply. Shrugging, Yuri paused and grinned smugly.

“Oh I don’t know. Perhaps that you’ve got both Lee Donghae and Cho Kyuhyun wrapped around your finger.” The elegant girl smirked.

“Do you know that you are darn pathetic?” Yoona muttered, shooting daggers at her. Unfortunately, Yuri could hear everything.

“What?!”

“I find that you always look so horrible when you flirt with guys.” She rolled my eyes, disgust written all over Yoona’s face.

"You don't know anything," Yuri murmured, her voice dangerously low. "If I were you, I would stay away from Donghae." She tossed her hair cockily, her voice dripping with acid.

“At least I don’t throw myself on them. Not like you.” Yoona spat at her. Yuri’s face grew red with rage as she tried to refute me.

“I agree.”

Startled, she glanced to her right, only to land her eyes on…him.

“I-I-Wha-Donghae oppa!” Yuri yelled as her eyes widened with disbelief.

“You should really leave her alone, Yuri-ssi. Or else.” Donghae’s eyes were menacing and his voice dark. Shaking with anger, she glared at Yoona before storming off. She was about to open to say something before he cut her.

“I hope she didn’t harass you or anything.” His voice was deep and husky. Staring at Yoona intently, he continued when she did not answer.

“I’m sorry about…that day.”

“It’s okay.” I shrugged. “Besides, I knew it was accidental.”

“Really?” His eyes widened happily.

“Yeah…It wasn’t on purpose… I forgive you.” She flushed a bit and my stomach clenched uncomfortably. He scratched his head awkwardly. “Okay…Then I guess I will see you around.”

“Yeah, okay.”

“What is this?” She smiled benignly, taking the small box from her best friend’s palms.

“It’s your present! Happy birthday unnie!” Yoona replied buoyantly, her cheeks flushed. Elated, Jessica ruffled her hair and then hugged her. After all, Yoona was her favourite dongsaeng.

“Aigoo…Kumawo!”

“Neh!” She chirped, and both started laughing as they strode beside the swimming pool.

“Yoona-ah, remember when we were young we use to go for swimming lesson?” Jessica started, gazing at the shimmering ripples made by the wind caressing the water.

“Yeah…And I couldn’t swim even though I had taken many lessons. I nearly drowned. And until this day I still can’t swim.” She frowned at that bit of memory, her eye brows scrunching together. Chuckling, Jessica was about to reply before she saw someone standing behind Yoona.

“Yuri what are you-YOONA!” Jessica shouted when Yuri ignored the blonde girl and pushed a confused Yoona into the pool. Yoona fell in with a big splash, her arms flailing everywhere as she tried desperately to swim and stay afloat.

“YOONA! NO! KWON YURI! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!” She shrieked at the smirking Yuri, her hands balled into fist. But she couldn’t do anything to her yet…Not when her beloved dongsaeng was drowning.

“YOONA! I’M COMING TO SAVE YOU!” Jessica was about to jump into the pool when another figure leapt into the waters.

The person swam towards Yoona and grabbed her by the waist, kicking and swimming back to the wall where a frantic Jessica pulled Yoona up.

Spluttering, the doe-eyed girl coughed out the water and tried to open up her eyes, but all she saw was a blurred face staring down at her worriedly.

Darkness engulfed her and she struggled to stay awake, but her body was growing weaker and weaker. The only sounds that rang in her ears were someone shouting out to her, shaking and calling out her name. However, she gave a tired and weary smile, before going limp.

A/N: I just want to say…So sorry for the long wait! I was busy with the other stories and couldn’t find time to update!>< Okay, I’ve read a lot of the story comments about readers wanting both YoonHae and KyuNa. Rest assured, I will have both pairings. What do I mean? I will have 2 endings, 1 will be YoonHae and the other will be KyuNa. So don’t worry! :) If you don’t get what I mean, just wait for it!
