I could not breathe, my body weak and limp.
I felt cold, awfully cold with his absence.
Memories flooded back, haunting and overwhelming.
Every now and then, he would appear in my dream.
My hope to see him lingered on.
The reality is not as promising as it seems.
Clenching my teeth, I went on.
Because love is the only reality and it is not a mere sentiment. It is the ultimate truth that lies at the heart of creation.

Author’s Notes:
Hello everyone :3 I’m back with a new story, a really angsty story. It will be starring Park Hye Rin (OC) and Byun Baekhyun of EXO-K. However, instead of the normal chaptered/ one-shots, this will be a collection of drabbles; each chapter will be a short chapter. This is my first time trying to write angsty drabbles, so I hope it won’t go haywire (: This will be a short story with only 5 chapters in total. The quotes in the subsequent chapters are credited to their rightful owners.
Now, you must be wondering why I chose ‘Incandescent’ as a title? Well, as you know, it means ‘bright and brilliant light’. What has that got to do with the oncoming chapters? You see, I don’t want to start ranting about ‘love’ (it’s very very clichéd that’s why); ‘Incandescent’ symbolizes ‘love’. It doesn’t just mean ‘light’, but a very very luminous light. It reflects the inner self affection of someone, describes the overflow of emotions. Incandescent is actually a very strong word XD But if you realize, the subsequent drabbles have nothing to do with 'Incandescent'. (:
Anyway, please do not plagiarize/copy/redistribute this story at any forms!
