Tiffany cut the steak with so much force that it started to make some clinking noises which bothered Jessica. The brunette broke her gaze from the counter to look at her girlfriend. She raised her eyebrows when Tiffany glared at her. " what's wrong with you? " said Jessica, glaring back at her. " no, " Tiffany breathed out. " what's wrong with you, Jessi? " " huh? what's wrong with me? it's obviously you're the one who has problem here. " Jessica replied angrily. " i won't have any problem if my girlfriend paid her attention to me instead of staring at the waitress at the counter! so much for our date. " Tiffany scowled. Jessica was taken aback at Tiffany's outburst. She didn't realize that she had staring at the waitress and neglected her dear girlfriend. Seeing that Tiffany already in her foul mood, she decided to leave the cafe. She scooped Krystal in her arms and went to pay for their bills. Tiffany followed behind, not wanting her girlfriend to see the waitress alone. Until now, Jessica still not sure whether the waitress was indeed Yuri, the one who she supposed to get married with. She tried to recall Yuri's picture that she saw at the Kwon's mansion, and indeed they looked the same. Except that she became prettier. Her heart beat wildly once she reached the counter, the waitress right in front of her, smiling. " here. " Jessica handed the waitress her credit card. Yuri took the plastic card and slided it on the machine. She frowned, scratching her head in confusion. She slided the card once more. She looked at the customers and smiled sheepishly. " what's wrong? " Tiffany stepped in front. " seems like the machine broke down.. again. can you wait while i ask my friend to fix this? " Yuri smiled. Tiffany wanted to slap the idiotic smile off of her face but she managed to fake a smile. " sure. Just don't take too long. " Yuri nodded before yelling. " yah Kim Hyoyeon! Get your fine here! " Hyoyeon appeared seconds later with chocolate smudged all over her face and apron. Yuri chuckled at her messy appearance. " why? I got orders to make you know. " said Hyoyeon, wiping the substance from her face. Yuri pointed to the credit card machine. " it's broke down again. I don't know how to fix it. Take a look at it. " " eish Kwon Yuri, such a loser. " Hyoyeon examined the machine. Jessica almost collapsed out of shock once she heard the name. " she's indeed Yuri! She's Kwon Yuri! " exclaimed Jessica mentally. After five minutes, the machine was already fixed and Yuri once again slided the card. She handed the card and a receipt to the brunette. Jessica's shaky hand didn't go unnoticed by a certain red-head. Tiffany's anger boiled up. " thank you, do come again later. " Yuri bowed to them. Tiffany quickly dragged Jessica out of the cafe. They bumped with a woman on the way out. " Yuri! " the woman called out. " hey baby! " Yuri shouted. Jessica turned to look at them while being dragged by Tiffany. She was shocked when the woman came to Yuri and gave a peck to Yuri. " so, is that her girlfriend? The bartender? " thought Jessica. Tiffany closed the door on Jessica's side before sitting on the driver's seat. She slammed the door hard, making both Jessica and Krystal flinched. Krystal cried out of shock. Jessica quickly stuffed her into Krystal's mouth, silencing her cries. Jessica looked at Tiffany who didn't bother to look back at her. As much as she wanted to tell Tiffany everything, she just couldn't. Unable to comfort her girlfriend, she just sighed and shifted her attention at the window. Tiffany slammed her hands on the steering wheel before drifted off to their house. ******************************* Yuri closed the door of her mansion and decided to head straight to her room. She didn't want to bump with her parents, especially her dad. But the old man suddenly emerged in front of her, much to her disappointment. She didn't want to engage into another argument. She bowed her head slightly and walked past him. " so i heard Yoona's mom is in the hospital and needs to get operate. " said Mr. Kwon. " are you stalking our daily lives, dad? You sent spy to us? " replied Yuri. " an operation needs lot of cash, you know. Does she has enough money to afford her mother's surgery? " Mr. Kwon ignored Yuri's question. " thank you for your concern but I can help her. " said Yuri. Her father laughed. Yuri raised her eyebrows at her father's action. " are you sure, Yuri? You seriously talked like you got big salary from working at the cafe. I know you're struggling with financial problem now. Don't act tough, my dear. " Mr. Kwon smiled. Yuri gritted her teeth. It was true. She was facing financial problem ever since she stopped depending on her parents' money. The salary that she got from the cafe wasn't quite promising but it was better than being jobless. She sighed. " dear, you can ask help from me. I'm willing to help her. I will pay for the operation. " stated Mr. Kwon. Yuri's head shot upwards once the words left her father's mouth. She couldn't believe this. Her dad really despised Yoona. So why would he being so generous, willing to help Yoona? " any agenda behind your sudden generosity? " asked Yuri suspiciously. " you knew your father well, my daughter. " Mr. Kwon nodded. " yeah, you will get married with my business partner's daughter. " " WHAT!? No! You know what, forget your insincere offer. I can find money by myself. " Yuri spat before stomping her way upstairs. As soon as she slammed the door, her phone rang in her pocket. She pulled out the device, managed to crack a smile once she saw the caller ID. " hey Yoona- yah! What's wrong?! Why are you crying!? Baby?! " flustered Yuri when she heard sobbings from the other line. " Yuri... Mom's condition become worst and the doctor said they need to operate her as soon as possible... B-but they need the money first.. If I don't pay it now, they can't do the operation.. And mom's life would be in danger.. Yuri-ah.. What should I do.. " sobbed Yoona on the line. Yuri's heart grew heavy as she listened to her love's cried. She needed to help her. And there was only one way to get that amount of money in a short time. She braced her heart as she stepped down the stairs, heading to her father at the living room. She didn't has any choice. She willed to take this risk for Yoona. She called out for her dad. " appa... I'll agree with your condition... I need the money now.. Y-Yoona needs the money... Her mom... " Yuri's voice quivered. " my pleasure. That's indeed a right choice to do at this moment, Yuri. Here, take this credit card to pay the operation cost. " Mr. Kwon handed his golden credit card. " thank you, a-appa. " mumbled Yuri. " it's nothing. Just don't forget our deal. " Yuri sighed, nodding slowly as she made her way out of the mansion.
