Jessica adjusted her strapless black dress in discomfort as she didn’t like how the article of clothing revealed too much of her skin. The knee-length dress was hugging her body tightly, showing her curvaceous figure. Tiffany groaned in disapproval but tried to contain her anger because her girlfriend’s parents were in their house while Krystal pouted in her arms. Taeyeon inwardly smiled at the sight. Mr. and Mrs. Jung were currently checking whether the dress that Mr. Jung bought for Jessica suited her or not, and he approved of it.

Jessica turned to look at her foster parents.

The Kwon’s mansion was as big and enormous as the Jung’s one. Butlers and maids were everywhere, greeting their guests with such warm smiles displayed on their faces. The dining table was filled with all sort of dishes and desserts but the Kwon was more into Korean foods while the Jung enjoyed Western foods in their household. Despite that, the Jung totally enjoy the delicious and appetizing dinner for the night.

As her parents were busy chatting with the Kwon, Jessica spent her time to admire each and every feature and design of the cozy mansion. As her eyes lingered, she spotted a rather big frame at the living room. She stared at the picture that had three people in it and she could only recognize Mr. and Mrs. Kwon. There was another person in it, a girl with black hair and had this masculine aura on her face. Regardless of that, the girl was beautiful. Very pretty, Jessica’s thought. She unconsciously smiled as she stared deep at the girl in the picture.

Jessica startled when her mom lightly patted her thigh, making her broke her trance. She turned to look at her mom, face showing confusion all over it. Mrs. Jung laughed before gesturing her to look at Mr. Kwon. Jessica gave a smile to him, feeling nervous all of a sudden.
