Hyomin’s

       I just got home after the reunion with my friends and the mansion was really quiet. If you guys were wondering, I moved back with my parents and yes, we’re living in a ridiculously huge house considering it was only for three people. 

         It was a little bit past midnight and I was sure my parents were already asleep. Well, it’s not like the place would be loud even when they’re awake anyway.

         I went to my room and sent a text to my boyfriend informing him that I got home safely. When I got into my room, I put my bag on the table and proceeded to the bathroom to take a shower.

         I was tired but contented. It’s been a long time since me and 5 of my used-to-be housemates hung out as a group. I was really happy when Yuri and Jessica told us they got back together. Sooyoung was over Jessica for sure, she looked sincerely happy for both of them. Taeyeon and Tiffany were also delighted to hear the statement and after all this time, they’re still the same lovey-dovey couple as they used to be.

         After a refreshing shower, I put on my pajamas and took my cell phone before I plopped on the bed. There were 1 missed call and 2 text messages from my boyfriend.

         Now, I was really happy to hang out with my friends and to know that they’re doing great, but here was my other source of happiness. I called him up and when I put the receiver on my ear, his voice could be heard instantly and that put a smile on my face.

         “Hey, you just got home? Why didn’t you pick up my call? Are you asleep already?”

         I giggled at his little interrogation-like-questions.

         “Well first of all, hello there boyfriend~ now the answers to your questions: I’m home, I was taking a shower, and nope I’m not asleep yet. What’s with the questions, Sunny-ah?”

         “Sorry, I just miss you too much and all this studying start to get to me.” He let out a sigh. 

         So.... if you didn’t know yet, my boyfriend was a senior in high school and he was going to have his college entrance exam on Monday, which was the day after tomorrow.

         “I miss you too. Take a rest and don’t push yourself too much. You’ve studied a lot, I’m sure you’re going to get in.”

         “I hope so. Anyway, what are you doing tomorrow?”

         “Maybe just spend some time with my parents.”

         He hummed in response.

         “You should sleep now, Sunny-ah. Tomorrow will be your last day to prepare for the exam.”

         “But I still want to hear your voice.” He whined.

         I giggled again, “I thought you’re the mature one here.”

         He snickered, “Whatever, Noona. Just tell me about your day. How’s the reunion? How’s Yuri?”

         I told him about my day and we chatted a little bit more until I yawned.

         “You’re sleepy?”

         “Yeah. You’re not?”

         “A little bit.”

         “Well then I think it’s time to sleep. Call me tomorrow in between your break from studying, okay? And don’t forget to eat.”

         “Ma’am, yes, ma’am. I can’t wait for this exam to be over. I want to see you.”

         “I want to see you too. We’ll meet on Monday after your exam and after my work hour is over, okay?”

         “Okay~ Good night then, beautiful.”

         “Good night, handsome~”         

         With that, we ended the phone call.

         If you guys were wondering (again), you didn’t read it wrong. I did say ‘after my work hour’. I was working. I graduated from college last year while my boyfriend was entering college this year.

         Yes, I was dating a guy younger than me, much much younger.
