Chapter 16

Seulho’s POV

I asked Kira out.

She was standing speechless.

Then, I asked her again “Kira?”

“Y-you know, we are still..” she said.

When she was halfway done answering, I stopped her and said

“You don’t need to answer me now, I won’t rush you”

I released her hand.

I know that she will reject me so I stopped her and made an excuse.

I don’t know what to do If I hear her reject me.

“I have to go now, bye” I said and walked away.

Kira’s POV

I was half way done but he interrupted.

“You don’t need to answer me now, I won’t rush you.” He said.

An awkward silence happened.

I didn’t say anything; he might notice that I’m crying if I talk.

My head is faced down and my heart beats fast.

“I need to go, bye” he said with a smile and walked the opposite way.

I was left alone at the hallway.

What do I do?

I don’t want to reject him but I think it’s too early for us to have those kind of relationship.

I went back to my classroom.

People are staring at me.

“Ms. Kim Kira, you have been called by the principal” my teacher said.

“Yes Ma’am” I replied and went immediately.

At the principal’s office ------

I was shocked when I saw Seulho there.

It was very awkward.

“Sit down dear.” The principal said soflty.

“Thank you Ma’am.”

“We all know the incident that happened this morning, I suppose” she said.

“Yes” Seulho replied.

“Both of you made an announcement. I need further explanation.” The principal said.

“We never did anything Ma’am, someone set these things up. We can’t blame someone, but we can tell you what happened” Seulho said.

“Will you please then tell me what happened.” Ms. Principal said.

“Ma’am!”

I saw Hyun Min entering the principal’s office,

With Sunwoo behind her.

“What brings you here Ms. Jo?” the principal asked.

I glared at her and signaled that she has to leave but she looked away.

“I-i-i-i-I” she stuttered.

“If you don’t have any business here Ms Jo, you can leave.” The principal said.

“Ki Ra is not pregnant. It’s only a set up” she shouted.

“How can you prove it Ms Jo?” she asked her.

Tears started to flow from her eyes; I know that she’s scared.

“Why don’t you ask Lee Minho?!” she said bravely.

“Okay, I understand. I will just call your parents and tell them to come here tomorrow.” Ms. Principal said.

“What?!” Sunwoo exclaimed.

“Okay! If that’s the only thing to fix this.” Hyun Min said.

“But Ms. Principal, you don’t have to. We can explain it to you right now.” Seulho said.

“Well then, please start explaining now.” She replied.

“Neh. I will start it.” Hyun Min said.

“But please let them out. They have nothing to do with this.” She added.

“Hyun Min!” I said.

“Please” she said.

“Okay” I went outside and Seulho followed me out.

Hyun Min’s POV

This is it! The first problem I have to solve on my own.

“Hyun Min.”

I felt someone’s hand touched mine.

“AH, Sunwoo. Why didn’t you go out?” I asked Sunwoo.

“I will stay here. I’m not leaving. We will solve this together.” He replied and squeezed my hand.

“Well?” ms principal said.

“Neh,” I sat down and took a glance at Suwnoo.

He held my hand tighter.

He nodded and gave me a you-can-do-it look.

Now I have confidence.

Kira’s POV

What’s happening? Why did she do that?

“Kira-“ Seulho called out.

He was about to cup my face but he stopped when I looked at him.

“D-don’t worry. Hyun Min is with Sunwoo, she’ll be fine.” He said with his face down, looking at his hand.

“Yes”

Words won’t come out of my mouth.

“I should get going now.” He said and walked away already.

I can see his back.

Seulho is walking away from me.

Walking away, just like what happened a while ago.

Nothing is bad about it, but somehow, I feel hurt.

Why is it that my words won’t get throughout my mouth?

There’s no voice coming out.

I want to stop him from walking away.

Please don’t walk away Seulho.

Then, just in a blink of an eye, he disappeared already.

And all I can say, the words that went out of my mouth is…

“I love you Seulho”
