Inspite of the snows fell down outside, Jiyong run into his car in the basement. Minutes ago he hung up the phone call from Bom. She said Chaerin was hospitalized at the Hospital of Incheon State and just need a second for him to rush outside his apartment to go and see Chaerin. He was in panick, his breath was uncontroled, he couldn’t think straight now.

                What happened to you Chaerin? You can’t leave me like this... Are you hurted or sick??  Thousand of thoughts were flashing inside his mind. Along the drive, which can’t be called as drive since he  run his car into 100mph, and it was no longer a drive, Jiyong couldn’t stop swearing. Chaerin being unhealty, sick, and got hospitalized like right now might be because of her carelessness in taking care of her health. Workaholic in a studio. Damn it!  He got frustated. He needed to see Chaerin before he turned insane.

                In the other hand, Bom was shocked because of a new thing she had just known. “Eonni… two years ago… I left Seoul because.. I was pregnant” Bom couldn’t avoid her tears. “I have a cancer… in my uterus…” She was in full of tears now. Thank God Chaerin’s parents had arrived not so long ago and let her got out from Chaerin’s room. She pretended to be strong in front of Chaerin, a little bit freak out of course, but at least not sobbing. Here, outside the room, without Chaerin knew, she was sobbing like a little kid.

                She doesn’t know what to do. Should I let Jiyong know?? Her thought was distracted.

“Noona.....” Jiyong run into Bom who blankly sat on the chair in front of the VIP room – which is strange because mostly VIP room patients would have their relatives or visitors wait inside the room not outside and look pale like Bom right now – “Is Chaerin okay??” Jiyong couldn’t help but directly asking about Chaerin. He had been in too much worry along the road. He needed to know the recent report about Chaerin.

                “She... is... I don’t know, Ji. Sorry. But Chaerin’s parents are inside the room with her. She is good enough, I think you don’t need to worry that much..”

                Jiyong inhale and exhale a long breath, sound really relief. This make Bom felt guilty for lying like this to Jiyong. If only you know the truth, Ji.. what will you do? Will you still beside her or leave her instead?? Bom couldn’t help but threw bad thoughts about Jiyong. After all, he had made Chaerin this sad, he is a man trapped in a good-but-bad boy manners. Who knows what Jiyong would do if know Chaerin was sick and even have a less chance to have baby. Bom insisted.. this is for the best. Jiyong doesn’t have to know about Chaerin’s condition, at least until the day she thought he was good enough come.

                “Noona?? Noona???”

                “Ah... yeah? Sorry I’m still in shock because I saw with both of my eyes that Chaerin was falling down just like that.. Oh Jiyong....” and there she started crying again.

                “Oh Noona... sorry... so sorry... if only I didn’t tell you about my problem.. let’s see her then.. okay??” Jiyong made his movement into Chaerin’s room. His hand shook, he was so nervous, he wouldn’t just meet Chaerin.. he would meet her parents as well. He still could remember Papa Lee’s smart sight and Mama Hwang warm hugs. He used to accustomed with all of that. Before... Chaerin left just like that, disposed him without hesitation.

                “Good afternoon...” Jiyong said and both Papa Lee and Mama Hwang turned around to see him. Chaerin, in the other hand turned her sight into the window, refusing to see him. Jiyong could feel the cold Chaerin threw to him. He wanted to hug her so bad and scolded her for not taking care of her health. But to see Chaerin rejected him like he has a HIV, his heart broken. It would be better to see Chaerin scream and shout at him like the day they met in Chaerin’s house rather than she refused him like this.

                “Jiyong-ah... long time no see....” as expected Mama Hwang came into him and gave Jiyong her warm hug. After she released the hug Jiyong gave her his most wide smile, “Annyeong hasseyo, Imo. It’s good to see you again..”

                “How are you?” she asked and somehow Jiyong felt like this is Mama Hwang’s way to built a wall for him to meet her daughter.

                “It’s good, actually I worried about Chaerin’s condition, that’s why after Bom noona told me Chaerin fainted and got hospitalized, I went here directly,” Jiyong still gave Mama Hwang his smile eventhough all of his mind couldn’t stop thinking about the best way to run away from this trap and got closer to see Chaerin.

                “She is okay, just a little bit tired. You know, after a long time finally she can be working in the studio again. I guess she pushed herself too far in this new project..”

                “Yeah, I had just finished my enlistment in military. I would love to help you remind her about health and not too much working, Imo..” Jiyong’s joke made Mama Hwang and Papa Lee turned into laugh.

                It was suddenly stopped when Chaerin said gently, “I want to sleep, can I?” and as if everyone understand, they saw her. Papa Lee finally broke the silence by saying, “I guess we should have lunch by now and let Chaerin rest for a while. Jiyong.. I would love to have lunch with you...”

                Though Jiyong really didn’t want to leave Chaerin, he had no choice, “Ne Lee Samchon..”

Jiyong is here... OMG he is here... Chaerin’s mind was full of this issue. Jiyong was here, saw her in this really bad condition, pale, weak, and helpless. What should I do now? Put on some make up? Oh dear Marry.. how can I think of putting some make up on??  Insane. Yeah she knew, even after long time separated away her body and mind couldn’t lie. That boy named Jiyong still had the effect on her. Babo, Chaerin!!!! She swore at herself

                How can he be here? Yeah.. she remembered Jiyong told her mother that he went here after Bom unnie told him. Wait a minute.. did Bom unnie told him as well about her secret? OMG ... It couldn’t be. It’s enough for her to meet the fact that the last person she wanted to know finally met her priceless children.

                She played back all the explanation she had told to Bom. The pregnant things, the miscarriage, as well as the Joeun and Naeun history. It gave her pain for sure, to hide the truth from everyone she loves. What if Jiyong uncovered the truth? NO WAY. Walk over her death body. Her children were hers and Jiyong has nothing to do with them. She has this mind and plans with her, no one can take away her children, not Jiyong.

                Thinking about her children and Jiyong, she couldn’t help but being reminded again to her sickness condition. For godsake, she hated the fact that she became this miserable. She faced two choice to take the medicine treatment and loss her chance to have babies again or to let the cancer undermine her boddy and caused her to death. Tears fell down from her eyes into her chin. How can I be complete as a woman ever again? She looked outside the window beside her, and there she could capture the beauty white snows covering all over the hospital’s garden. She has been completed as a woman afterall but she couldn’t claim it. She was forced by the circumstances to let her only treasure not to know that she is the owner though she is so close with it.

                Don’t cry Chaerin.. don’t cry.

                She made the decision by herself since now. Yeah.. she knew it. She should keep Jiyong away from her children or Jiyong would uncover the truth and that was a nightmare. No. It can’t be happened.

Bom didn’t come along Mama Hwang, Papa Lee and Jiyong to have lunch. She couldn’t stay any longer with Jiyong at least in the current time because somehow she still felt guilty towards him. So only the three had lunch in the restaurant near the hospital.

                “How is your military days, Jiyong?” Papa Lee asked while waiting for their order to come.

                “Nothing is so serious. I was placed in DMZ near North Korea, actually until now I still wished I died during my duties there...” Papa Lee and Mama Hwang looked him in shock, “I got frustated because Chaerin left me without any reason behind, also I thought I had no life again...”

                “Ehem...” Papa Lee cleaned his throat before said to Jiyong, “Jiyong-ah, it’s not that we wanted you to stay away from Chaerin, but the condition forced us to make her stayed away from Korea. I wish I could give you some proper explanation and excuse but I can’t.”

                “We like you, Jiyong...” Mama Hwang added, “We really do. It’s just ... you know, she has experienced lots of obstacles and storms in her life these three years....”

                Jiyong was shocked to see Mama Hwang cried, “Imo-nim... I am so sorry. It’s not my aim to please you...”

                “It’s okay, Jiyong-ah. I just.... I think you should learn to keep distance with Chaerin, Jiyong-ah...”

                “ ..............”

                “Jiyong, did you hear what my wife just said?” Papa Lee asked the blanked Jiyong.

                Jiyong still had no answer for that orders, he was shocked. He couldn’t believe Mama Hwang told him to stay away from her daughter. Did he do wrong?? What was it, then?? How can he be blamed of everything he himslef had no any idea.

                And during the silence, Mama Hwang’s phone was rang. “Annyeonghasseyo aegi-ya.. what happened babby? Eommeo.. bad Joeun oppa.. yes, grandma will be there to pick you two up soon.. okay?”

                Jiyong realized. It must be Naeun and Joeun who was on the phone with Mama Hwang. Suddenly he came up with the idea. So, after Mama Hwang hung up the phone, he said to her, “I will make sure to stay away from Chaerin if you let me pick up Joeun and Naeun and drive them here to meet their mother. I promise that would be the last time I stay close to Chaerin and her twins...”

                Mama Hwang looked worried at the first time but after a ‘yes’ sign from her husband she agreed with Jiyong’s offers. Right after Mama Hwang gave him the address of her sister’s house where she entrusted Naeun and Joeun, Jiyong went there with his car.

                This is the only way and he had decided. HE WOULD FIND A WAY TO UNEVEIL THE ANSWER. He made the decision to arrange all the broken puzzle one by one until he find the truth. Yeah.. first of all... he needed the thing to check up for the first truth.
