PROLOGUE

 

There’s no secret in this entire universe, only a small percentage of socialite keeping it by themselves.  It’s not talking about that kind of socialite explained by OXFORD, not also the korean dictionary published by NAVER. Socialite here is about group of people who stand by themselves, serving to the number one person in Korea, and keeping secret only for them.

 

National Intelligence Service, NIS, is what people calls them. NIS is the mysterious yet the key of Korea to be as stabil as now. They look for secret, keep it as another secret, and do things to protect the nation. Most of people might be thinking about the words ‘frightening’, ‘sophisticated’, ‘war’, ‘smart’, and ‘spy’ related to NIS. No wrong, that’s all true, but more important is ‘SAFETY’. They work for the savety of nation, of people all around the country. Forgodsake, NIS is the brain of all related to nation strategy.

 

Therefore, NIS is the most risks federal agent in the Korea peninsula. Spies everywhere, they become spies, they face to face with spies and they maintain themselves from spies. But if, one of them was the spy for another party, could they still handle it?

 

You will not understand.

 

NIS is not just socialite, not just federal agents, not just agency. Moreover NIS is a family, and once you join NIS you will find your second family where you landed all the burdens, happiness, cries, feels, and LOVES. Loving and being loved is a thing, but in love and being loved by the traitor is another thing. When the days come, can you stay still fighting your love? Or you love your family more? Your nation more?

“We are not working for Mr Kang, we are working for the President. Please keep it in your mind!”

 

A big deep yet shrill voice was heard in the whole room. Since it was a big conference room and that man who was talking not using any microphone, you gotta imagine by yourself how loud his voice was. He was Yang Hyunsuk The King – that’s how people call him – the captain and director of Nation Intelligence Service. His voice would’ve made everyone laugh hard because it was too weird and funny, but instead no one was laughing at the moment. They were all frightenned by Hyunsuk The King’s anger.

 

“YOU! YEAH YOU LEE SEUNGHYUN! STEP FORWARD!” Hyunsuk The King yelled at the pity man, Lee Seunghyun. “What did I tell you yesterday before you go into the Blue House?” Hyunsuk The King shouted again after Lee Seunghyun steped forward.

 

“We are not working for Mr Kang, we are working for President...” that was what Seunghyun said as the answer. Hyunsuk The King looked into his eyes and cut his words, “Then why did you take the order to spy over Mrs Park as one of your jobdesk next after the North Korea spying mission accomplished? The politic is not our line!!! We are just serving the president not the person himself!”

 

“I am sorry, Sajangnim” Seunghyun apologized.

 

“WHO TELL YOU THAT DAMN TO APOLOGIZE?! DON’T YOU REMEMBER THE FIRST RULE I HAVE FOR MY CREW?” again Hyunsuk The King showed his anger, even worse.

 

“I.. I am sorry... Sajangnim... I.. I forget...”

 

Hyunsuk The King sighed for a while then immediately looked into his other crew, “Agent Lee Chaerin, do you still remember what is it?”

 

Calmly the woman standing not too far from Seunghyun answered the question, “Yes, Sajangnim. It’s your rule to never apologize because it will make us look weak..” Hyunsuk The King smiled over her answer. “Very clever as expected..” he smiled.

 

“You, Seunghyun.. learn more and remember I have my eyes everwhere just like you have your eyes everywhere..” by that Hyunsuk The King left the room.

 

Right after Hyunsuk The King was disappeared from sight, the buzz started. Mostly talking about how pity Seunghyun was. That little man known as Seungri was just as excited as the buzz talking about how frightenning Hyunsuk The King was. “Yeah.. I was just pretty say yes when Mr Kang The President asked me to spy over Mrs Park’s campaign team though I have no intention to do it..” he talked to the buzz. Everyone responded his explanation.

 

“You little rat, keep your mouth close and your eyes closer! Didn’t you get what Yang Sajangnim told you before. He has his eyes everywhere.. he probably knows you are talking behind him,” Chaerin said before she walked to leave the room.

 

“Aah... Clever mind Agent Lee, thankyou for your advise,” Seungri sarcasticly replied.

 

Chaerin threw him a death glare before finally really left the room. Another man followed her from behind. As if she knew it, Chaerin turned back and there she found that man. A very wide and silly smile which never failed to fly her into the paradise holloed her. She smiled seconds before said, “Oppa..”

 

“Don’t mind what Seungri said. That little rat just too jealous to you. You know, he always become the most difficult to keep for Hyunsuk The King unless you, his sweetest agent ever..”

 

“Jiyong oppa....” Chaerin blushed by his words. “That’s too cheesy, I told you...” Jiyong laughed by Chaerin words in respond. After Jiyong stopped laughing, Chaerin continued, “Let’s have some lunch before we headed to the naval marines headquarters...”

 

Then the two walked side by side. Happy was the most suitable word to describe their path, but for how long?
