Underestimation
The MaskLuhan’s hand trembled. Telling his friends that Jinah was pregnant was a lot harder than he thought. Although they were understanding most of the times, he knew that this would really cause trouble not only in his career, but also his precious friends’ career. Their careers’ importance were around the same level, so he knew that dropping a bomb like that would strain their relationship. They couldn’t afford to lose their career because of a mistake as big as that. It would be a blow not just for EXO alone, but the blow would be much bigger for Luhan’s career. He wasn’t even sure if he would still be in EXO the moment he tells them what was going on.
The more he thought about it, the more his head hurt. The fact that his precious, long-awaited dream could be gone within just a blink of an eye, brought tears to his eyes. He had two choices – to risk losing his career for the sake of his family or to abandon his own family to maintain his career.
He was waiting outside the CEO’s room impatiently. His career’s life was about to get decided whether it would end or he would be given another chance. As much as he wanted to pray that they will let him stay with the company and continue his life as a singer along as being a father, he knew it was impossible. He hurt his friends with the revelation, although it wasn’t his intention. All of them knew he didn’t want to hurt them, but it was such a big revelation for them that they couldn’t help but get mad at him for some reason. A few understood and forgave him, a few were still hating him.
“Luhan,” his manager called. His face was void of any emotion. “The president wants to see you.” Luhan nodded and with clammy hands, pale face and shaky legs, he went inside the room.

Jinah wasn’t crying. That wasn’t a surprise anymore. The feelings were all bottled up inside. She wanted to run to Luhan and start all over again, but how was she supposed to do that when his life was at stake? As much as she wanted to have a complete family, she couldn’t. She was just protecting Luhan and her baby from any harm that is Kevin. She could only hope that Kevin would just miraculously disappear for good or let her be happy. She was convinced that Kevin turned to be nothing but someone who was greedy and desperate for love.
Kevin opened the fridge and sighed as he saw how full it was, it only meant that Jinah had not eaten anything the whole day. “Jinah,” Kevin called in a slight scolding manner. “Think about your baby.”
She didn’t know if Kevin already knew twhat Youngho told her. No secrets would be kept forever, that was what she always believed. Hence, she decided to let Kevin know a tinge of what she knew. “I want a happy future with my baby. That’s all I can think about now. I just want her to be safe and have a complete family,” she said solemnly, wishing Kevin would know the underlying meaning in her tone.
“I don’t think having a complete family is possible for you, Jinah. You know how Luhan’s career is at stake right now. One more storm and that’s the end for him,” he said stubbornly.
With each word he said, Jinah’s heart just felt heavier. Just how could he be so selfish? “I’m thinking about Luhan, too. You think that his career is the most important thing to him, but no. He wants
