Studio
The MaskAmong all the people that she had met, Luhan was one of the hardest to read. She had no idea what he was thinking about most of the time. She had tried so many times not to see him as just another pretty boy because she knew he was more than that. His soft features might be the opposite of his personality. Who knows?
His eyes looked sparkly, but she thought otherwise. Its outside appearance might be sparkly, but once you stare deep down at his brown orbs, it would tell you something else. There seemed to be some sort of emptiness behind those sparkly eyes. It was almost like his eyes looked dead. Not many people could see that since most of them would be busy enjoying the fact that they are looking at ‘the Luhan from EXO’, and since she saw them quite often, she had enough time to get to know them better and watch their body language.
He was like a mystery. At first, she thought it was just because of her infatuation for him, but as time passed by, she got more interested in his mysterious aura. She wasn’t sure if he really was mysterious, but it felt like something was luring her to get to know him better. She was a complicated person, and that she was aware of, but she wasn’t denying the fact that she was possibly slowly falling for him. How could she fall for someone she has not talked to alone? She just greeted him ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ and she could count how many times she did that.
‘I repeat, I am a complicated person.’
She averted her gaze back to her friends and joined them. Like the usual, she kicked off her pumps and walked around barefooted. Those heels were killing her and every time she was at the studio, she would make herself comfortable as if it was her home; all of them felt that. It felt like the studio was their second home.
She was too tired to join them to dance, so she opened the door in the practice room and took the guitar. Inside the practice room, it had another small and transparent room that leads to where the instruments were. The size of it was like one fourths of the practice room. It was really cool since they could see what the people were doing through the see-through glass. The mini music room was sound proof.
She sat on the chair and crossed her legs while tuning the guitar on her lap. Finally satisfied with the tune, she began strumming and hummed at the tune. She bobbed her head up and down lightly and closed her eyes. She was leaning against the glass so they would only see her back.
Feeling a little bored of playing the guitar, she opened the door and called Minhyuk. Minhyuk was in-charge of the music for our group. He was a music genius. He was the one who taught her how to play drums and guitar. He composed and remixed songs, too. “Hyuk-ah, can I ask you a favor?”
He snapped his head at her and nodded. “Can you remix these songs for me? Just add a few more beats since they are already upbeat. Enough for dance sessions, but not for clubbing.” She smiled angelically at him and he patted her head.
“Anything for the little angel,” he said and he earned a good and hard glare from her. How they loved calling her endearments and cheesy nicknames.
