Insecure
The MaskWith the breaking news that EXO’s innocent and cute Luhan was dating, the fan girls went berserk and really crazy. The sasaengs became worse than they already were. The girls camped in front of SM’s building and held banners saying they were against Luhan dating. Some sasaengs already found out that it was Jinah, and she just had to face their wrath. Jinah got shelled a lot of times, received flying objects that hit her in every part of her body, and all the time, she had to endure it because like they said, she had an image now to keep. Not only did the news caused a lot of fans to leave the fandom, leave their official and unofficial fan sites, but also, some of the enraged fans bought stacks of their official goods only to burn it right in front of the poor boys’ faces. Like expected, most of the fans were totally against it, but some of them supported Luhan’s dating.
Jinah sighed as she plopped down on the chair at the office. Soo Man told her to quit her job as it would be really dangerous for her when she was not on their watch, and she knew that the fans might cause harm at the company she was working at, too. This will be the last project that she would be working, and she hoped everything would go smoothly.
To her luck, none of her officemates knew that she was the girl Luhan was dating, so she foundnd the office the place where she could lay off her mind about the issue. There was no Luhan there, no scandal and no fan girls.
“Tough day huh?” Even with her eyes closed, she could recognize Kevin’s voice.
“You have no idea. Can you see this scratch on my face? They’re scary.” She pointed at the small scratch on her forehead and he sighed.
“You wanted this, Ji. You chose this way.”
She huffed at him and said, “A friend you are. You should be pitying me and not scolding me, you know? A lot of people already hates me. Way to make my reputation that I kept clean and good through all these years go down the drain but you’re right, my choice and my responsibilities.” She turned her back from him and continued drawing the draft for her last project.
A few hours on drafting, she felt someone tap her shoulder and she looked tiredly at the suspect. “What is it, Kevin?”
“Dinner? Seafood dinner? It’s already past dinner for goodness’ sake. Stop working, will you?” Kevin rolled his eyes at her and fell slightly open as she saw how late it became. Time really flies fast especially when you’re doing something you really love.
Just when she was about to answer, her phone rang and she held it in the air, telling him that she had to pick it up.
Turned out that it was Luhan’s manager, asking her to go to their company’s building. Who calls at this time of night for business matters? Busy people of course. Wi
