L.Joerin.
The Played PlayboyL.Joe had said that everything would be normal. He said that he would forget everything he said and did that night. She didn't know if he was going to keep his words because the next day in school she didn't see him once. She didn't know if she had been avoiding him without concious volition or vice versa. Either way, she was glad. It was a good thing that he was in the year above her, that way they didn't share a class either.
That day Minwoo stuck by her side, not leaving it for even a second. She felt so safe with him around.
After school he walked her home and stayed behind and did some homework together with her.
After they were done they sat together in the corner of her dully lit room, the windows almost bursting at the seams with the now brightly lit evening sun. A nostalgic feeling had indulged its’ self onto both of them; giving a feeling that this should have been for a long time. His arms were tightly wrapped around her shoulders, hers, clinging to his chest, and her head on his shoulder. Basking in each other’s ambiance, creating each other’s warmth.
He looked down at her, his eyes dulled by the darkness of the room. He gave that quirky smile, that one he knew that she had loved from a long time ago; it gave her the feeling as if he knew something that she didn’t. Caressing her cheek, he lifted her chin; their noses almost touching. She could feel the warmth of his breath brushing the top of her lip. She started back into his hardened dark eyes...
Parting her lips slightly, she leant in towards him, yielding to the soft strength of his kiss, that engulfed her, gaining in strength until she found herself wrapped up in him.
That night she fell asleep in his arms.
Ring ~ Ring ~
Minwoo groggily opened his eyes slightly and looked at the clock on the night stand. 8:35pm. Ah, they've only been sleeping for a little while, but he was still feeling extremely dazed.
Ring ~ Ring ~
And that phone was starting to really irritate him. He gently peeled his arm that was under Yoorin's head, not wanting to wake her up, then he started fumbling around for the phone.
Rubbing his eyes with a yawn, he pressed the phone to his ear. "Hello? This is No Minwoo in the No residence."
"Oh, I'm sorry. It seems that I have dialled the wrong number." Came a deep voice down the line.
Minwoo dropped the phone and fell back next to Yoorin, wanting to fall back into dreamland. But then the phone started ringing again.
He cocked his head at the phone as realisation hit him,
Oops, I'm at Yoorin's place...
"Hello, this is Seo residence." Minwoo said, more awake now.
It was silent down the line.
"Hello?" Minwoo said again down the phone.
"Who the hell is this?" It was the same voice from before.
"Who the hell are you?" Minwoo said, frowning slightly.
"I'm Yoorin's father! Why in the world are you in my house?!"
Right then, Yoorin woke up and happily snatched the phone away from Minwoo. "Dad! Huh? You're coming back from your business trip? What? You're back now? Oh, okay, I'll go and pick you up. Huh? Oh, my boyfriend. You'll meet him when we pick you up. Okay, see you at the airport!" With that she put the phone back and smiled. "My dad's coming back!"
"So I heard." Minwoo smiled and stood up, doing a few stretches. "I'll go and pick him up with you. I should go and explain some things to him, like how we spend the night together sometimes. He probably has a really bad impression of me right now."
Yoorin smiled, "Relax! It's all good, my dad is not like that." She knew her father, and he wouldn't make a big deal about this.
"I can't relax. I want to set things straight." He started straightening his tie, he was still in his uniform because they fell asleep not that long after school finished.
Yoorin's heart warmed at his words. Aw, his honor student side is showing.
She wasn't that bothered about what her dad will think (because chances were, he wouldn't really be at all that bothered about it either), but at least it showed that he was serious about them.
"My dad loves the outdoors, too! He and Minwoo will get along just great!" Yoorin said as she stepped out of her house.
They both turned and started walking to the bus stop. To get to the airport they had to take two buses.
"Hey, Yoorin!" She heard a familiar voice call her name and a car honk. She turned around to see L.Joe in his car, driving towards them.
"L.Joe!" Minwoo said through gritted teeth, clenching both of his fists.
Yoorin elbowed him on the stomach. She and him had talked about it. She wanted him to not bring it up, and pretend that it never happened - like how she and L.Joe were.
Minwoo cleared his throat. "Er, I mean... look who's here. Yo, L.Joe."
"I got my license!" L.Joe beamed. "Want to take a ride with me? Anywhere you want to go."
So he weren't kidding... he really was pretending like it never happened just so they could be normal.
"Really?" Yoor
