I'm a Fool [Oneshot]
As usual, the phone rang. Jieun froze but did nothing to stop the ringing. It kept on vibrating till silence once again filled the room, just to start again.
The doorbell rang, and yet again Jieun stood there unmoving, listening to the desperate voice calling for her name, sometimes cracking as if the owner of the voice had been crying.
Jieun came back from work just to find the figure standing right in front of her house, waiting for her. As her heart skipped a beat, she spun around, hurriedly walking away, relived that he hadn't noticed her.
Needless to say that the person she was avoiding was none other than her ex-fiancé Lu Han, or better her heartbreaker. Since they had broken up he had tried everything to talk to her, but she had been too afraid to do so. What if she fell again for his acts? She had been a fool to believe his words back then, but she wasn't going to be as stupid anymore.
