“Joonie~!” a voice called. I looked behind and saw Taemin running towards me. “You told me to wait for you at the cafeteria but you never showed up!” He stomped his feet.

I slightly laughed at his childish behavior. He is so similar to Jong In. “Mian, Taemin-ah. But I saw Jong In in his classroom, alone. So I thought that was my chance to have a talk with him” I explained

Taemin playfully rolled his eyes “Why bother? He’s the guy, he should be the one talking to you and not the other way around.”

I shrugged “I just miss him” I casually told him

Taemin smiled “That’s my girl” He pinched my cheeks like how he does before. “Our little baby is already a grownup”

I smiled at him and hugged his waist “Of course. I won’t stay your baby forever.”

Taemin laughed softly “Too bad, for us you’re still our baby girl, Joonie-ah”

I pouted with his words “What kind of a best friend are you? Not letting me grow up and keep treating me like a baby”. I untangled my arms and started walking back to class

“Not my fault that you still act like one” He said as he followed me. “And as your best friend, it’s my duty to take care of you”

I frowned and argued “No. It’s your duty to guide me. It’s my boyfriend’s duty to take care of me”

He raised his brow and asked “And who exactly that is?”

I clasped my hands together and batted my eyelashes “Of course it’s none other than Kim Jong In” I joked.

He suddenly slapped the back of my head lightly and I murmured a little “Oof” as a reaction to his action. “Not a chance. Jong In has to go through me first!” He acted like he’s the almighty Taemin.

I just rolled my eyes again and started walking back to class.
