The streets are soaked with rain.

Luhan stands by himself as the droplets fall from all around. His face is blank, his gaze expressionless as he reaches out a cupped palm to catch the water, as if it is a falling star.

He dips a finger in the small streams floating to the gutters and swirls his hand around, creating small ripple patterns that undulate gently and drift outwards. He straightens and stares at the sky, where there is no sun present, but only the blankly soaked clouds that are puffy with floods born within. The dim light reflects off his eyes, so that they appear almost golden. The sky is pure white, and the black cement is dotted with little flecks of disturbances as the rain hits the water.

The rain... the rain falls incessantly, and Luhan knows that even when it stops, it won’t really stop, at least not for him, because a broken heart, a broken soul, isn’t something that will go away as easily as the rain does.
