*Third Person P.O.V.*


The whole lobby was covered with paparazzi. There was a huge stage just outside the building. There was a huge stage with a table and chairs set up for 13 people.

There were huge screens on either side of the stage with a projector projecting images of Bangtan.

Back in the practice room was all of BTS, Heejoo, the translator, the managers and the CEO's of both Big Hit and JYP.

"Okay so the plan is after the press conference, we will all be coming back down here and begin your practice. We will let the press come down here and show them that you guys can get along and are going to be a perfect team." Mr. Jeong said.
"Heejoo wants to know if it’s necessary to have all these cameras down here" Mr. Jung said.
"Well Heejoo we want to make sure they get that you’re an amazing dance and that you have talent. We in other words want to show you off. Is that okay?" Mr. Jeong asked.
"She said its fine. The dance company she was at in LA did the same, always wanted to show her off and pose her as the main threat."
"Well now you’re our threat." Mr. Jeong said.
Ha she’s not a threat at all Jimin was saying in his head.
"Alright well I want you all of you to go up and go to the dressing room we have set up and get ready okay no more questions lets go" Mr. Jeong said walking out

All the members went to the dressing room and started to get their makeup done and changed into different clothes.

"Okay guys and Heejoo no matter what we have to display ourselves as a family. We may have only known each other for a day but we have to at least put some effort into it. That goes for Heejoo and Jimin okay. I'm asking you guys as the leader just this once. Our image depends on both your attitudes." Namjoonah said
"Don't worry Namjoon, you have treated me really great so I will be as nice as my personality tolerates. I won't ruin it so just chill" Heejoo said with a small smile.
"What did she say? Never mind that. Okay I will just as long as she stays out of my way and doesn't provoke me" Jimin said with an angry expression.
"Thanks both of you" Namjoon said.

Back up at the conference table, there was an MC ready to start the press conference.
"Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well today. As you all may know, we are here today because of some very important announcement that Big Hit will be revealing today about their new rookie group BangtanSonyeondan. And now I will introduce both the CEO's of Big Hit and JYP as well as the managers."
As he said this, they walked out and took a seat at their assigned seats. The paparazzi immediately started to take pictures and start to write down everything.

"Hello and thank you for taking time out of your day to come to this press conference.
We have a very big announcement but before that we will bring the boys out." Mr. Bang said

As he said this the MC started to introduce the boys one by one giving a short pause after each one so the reporters could take pictures. The order and seating was Rap monster, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungook at the end. But when they sat down they had to leave an open seat in between J-Hope and Jimin.

All the reporters looked at each other questionable. They were wondering if Jimin and Hoseok had a fight and left space in between each other.

"Now that we have all the boys here, we will start our conference. As you can see, these boys have been doing amazing. We would like to firstly announce that Bangtan will be having their comeback in two months, February 12th of 2014." The CEO of Big Hit said.

As the conference was reaching the middle Mr. Jeong began to speak.
"Hello everyone. I would first like to state that I am very proud of these boys. They are very hard working and always strive for what they want. I am hoping that everyone anticipates their comeback. With that being said I would like to make one more announcement." Mr. Jeong paused.
"I will like to give the very big news that BTS will be an 8 member group starting today. We have talked to the boys and we have already signed the contract. This person comes overseas, they trained in America and they will be a dancer vocalist and the female visual of the group. I would like to present to you Ms. Kim Heejoo." Mr. Jeong said as the side doors opened. As Heejoo walked out, the side screens that were displaying pictures of BTS changed to pictures of Heejoo. All the reporters rushed to the side door and started to take pictures of her.
Heejoo started to pose like a natural. She also had changed just like the boys. The boys were all dressed in white so they decided to match her with them. She was wearing a white dress that was strapless, she had a pair of high top converse, her hair was down and the tips were curled and a black headband to go with her hair, and her make-up done.
After standing there for a minute she walked over to the stage where everyone was seated. She walked up and Mr. Jung helped her up, he helped her put on the ear set where he would translate everything they were saying. He then helped her to her seat next to Hoseok and Jimin. Hoseok stood up and pulled her chair out for her to sit. She sat down and then the conference resumed.
"We will now let Heejoo introduce herself." BTS manager said while Mr. Jung translated.
Heejoo then stood up again and bowed "Hello. I'm Kim Heejoo. I'm 17 years old, I'm from California. I'm a dancer. I hope I do great and not disappoint the boys, the managers, the CEO's but most importantly the fans. I don't speak much Korean but I am learning so please be patient for now. Please take care of me and greet me with open arms." She said and bowed again and sat down.
Mr. Jung began to translate to the reporters.
"Now we will open up questions for Heejoo as well as the other members." The MC said as Mr. Jung finished taking.
"I have a question for whichever one of the boys. How do you guys feel having a new members mostly being a girl?" One of the reporters asked.
"Ah well we recently found out about this not long ago, were still a little bit at shock but are happy. We greet her with open arms and welcome her to our Bangtan family. As the leader I will support her and also the other members." Namjoon said.
"Yes adding to what Namjoon said, it was a little unexpected, the news just came to us out of nowhere.  But over all we welcome her with open arms. We have already seen her dance and she is an amazing dancer. We haven't really gotten to know each other that much but I can tell it’s going to be a big brothers little sister relationship." Yoongi added.
"I have a question for Heejoo. How do you feel being in a group with all boys?" Another reporter asked.
"Ummm well like Yoongi said we haven't really bonded that much. I just arrived two days ago and we all barely met last night. But they all seem like nice people and I hope we do become like a family. I'm sure it’s going to be a lot of hard work but nothing is impossible and I will prove to not only you guys but my members that I do deserve to be in this group." Heejoo said.
For the next 30 minutes they kept asking questions to the members, Heejoo and the managers. Jimin didn't talk at all and had a bored expression. One of the reporters caught that and spoke up.
"This one’s for Jimin. You look uninterested. Are you not happy with there being a girl in your group? Do you feel threatened by her? How do you feel about all this?" He asked.
Everyone then focused their attention to Jimin except Heejoo.
He better not say something stupid and ruin this or else I will get him when we are left alone, Heejoo said in her head.
What should I say? I hate her she's stupid. But I can't say that or else I will let down Namjoon hyung, Jimin was thinking.
"Oh well I haven't been feeling well lately so I apologize if I look bored or uninterested. At first I didn't like the idea of a new member mostly it being a girl. I was afraid of losing our bad boy/chic look also I felt like we were perfectly fine just the seven of us. I'm not super happy but it doesn't hurt to keep an open mind. As for me feeling threatened, never. She's a good dancer but I do not feel threatened at all. And I don't mean to sound rude or disrespectful. We each are talented in our own way and have our unique style and I'm anticipating to see what she brings to the group." Jimin said.
As he finished talking, all the reporters started to whisper and take plenty of pictures of Jimin and Heejoo.
"Ms. Heejoo can you give us a short preview of your talents?" One of the reporters said breaking the whispers.
"Yes. I prepared a song and a dance routine." Heejoo said getting up and walking down to the mini stage set up on the side.
She first started with singing; she started to sing a cover of Dream by LeeHi. Her vocals were amazing. She left the paparazzi in awe.
Hmm she's good at singing, and she can hit the high notes too, Jimin said in his head.
After singing she went back stage and changed quickly while BTS performed N.O.
Once they were done, they went backstage and Heejoo went on stage. She started her dance routine and made a great impression.
"Wahhhh isn't she amazing. She surely is going to fit in with these boys." The MC said as she walked off the stage.
They were all backstage getting their make-up retouched and changed back to their other clothes.
They all went back to the stage together and sat down again.
"Okay we will be taking three more questions." The MC said.
"I have a question for Heejoo. Where are you going to be staying?" Paparazzi asked.
"I'm staying in the dorm with the guys. But I'm in my own room on the opposite side of the dorms. My rooms kind of isolated from theirs so there is no reason to get the wrong idea. I hope no one thinks anything wrong about that." Heejoo said
"Okay so here's another question. Do you have a boyfriend?" The same reporter asked.
"No I don't. I have had but those are in the past and I don't plan in getting into any relationship until later on in the future... I want to focus on my career first and then maybe later on but at the moment no." Heejoo said.
"I have a school record here. You have good grades but it shows you have been expelled three times, and they all have been for multiple fights. Don't you think this will ruin not only your image but the guys? Didn't you think of that? Did your managers and CEO's know that?" The same reporter asked.
All the reporters started to whisper and look up the school record too.
"I'm pretty sure that’s a mistake and we can-" Mr. Jeong was saying but Heejoo interrupted.
"Can I explain? Yes it’s true. I had the highest grades in school. I was always ranked 1st but I also got suspended and expelled three times. Yes they were for fighting but it doesn't say the reason why. I got bullied a lot ever since middle school I would get harassed and hit a lot. I finally got tired of it and decided to fight back. It may not have been the best solution but it was my only hope. And if it’s wrong to defend yourself than sorry but I wasn't just going to continue getting beated until death. And like we have been saying I just barely arrived, I haven't had time to tell them about my personal life. So no they don't but now they do so thank you. Now I believe that is the last question we can take up so please join us in our first practice together thank you." Heejoo said getting up and bowing and walked off the stage.
