Chapter 20

*Heejoo*


"Why did you turn that off!" I yelled at Jimin as he turned off my radio.
"We need to talk." He said and before I could argue, he pulled me close to him and hugged me. 

"Heejoo" he said almost whispering, "I don't want to lose you." 
As he said those words, his grip around me got tighter. He placed his head in the crook of my neck and I could feel his warm breathe against my bare skin. The perfect ratio of sweat and cologne was all I could smell as I slowly wrapped my arms around him and buried my face in his chest. 

"W-what do you mean lose me?" I managed to stutter as we stayed in that position. 
"Don't leave me. Stay by my side." 
He said pulling away making me cold at the loss of warmth coming from his body. He then reached for my chin and pulled it up to look up at him. 
"I'm madly in love with you; if you were to leave me I don't think living would be a choice. It's been almost three months since you have been here, within that time I learned to love you. I tried to hate you and make you leave but in my attempts I ended up falling for you." He said leaning his forehead against my forehead. "You might not feel the same way but its okay, just don't leave me. Ignore my stupid confession and stay. We can be friends if that's what you want. You don't have to tell me your past or anything. If you want to date go for it. I'll support you just know I'll make that guys life hell. Please Heejoo don't leave."

As he said that, his voice cracked and he pulled me into another hug. I gently pushed him off and looked up at him. He had hurt written all over his face but he immediately attempted to hide it with a smile. 

"You idiot." I said and flicked his forehead.
"Ow. What was that for." 
"For thinking I would leave. Who told you that?" 
"I umm over heard your conversation with Kathy." 
"You what!" I said and began to fake punch him.

Jimin started to run around avoiding me and soon tripped over a backpack on the ground and landed face up on my bed. I quickly ran to it and began tickling him. 

"Heejoo I'm sorry I'm sorry!" He yelled in between laughs.
"You should have thought of the consequence of ease dropping on me and Kathy! I will never leave, I will continue to torture you because-" 

Before I could finish he managed to grab my hands and in a flash I was laying face up on the bed while he pinned me down and hovered over me. 

"Because what?" He said with a flirty smirk.
"Because.. I think.. I'm in love with you." I stuttered out. Immediately I could feel my face getting red and looked away quickly. 

Slowly I turned my head and immediately locked eyes with him. The look in his eyes was so warming and it felt like every worry was gone. Is this really love? Is Jimin the one who will make me forget my past and help me move on from all the pain and hurt? Something in me clicked and suddenly I felt like he was the one I wouldn't mind spending my life with. 

Who knows how much time passed by but we were still in that same position, me lying on my bed while Jimin was on top of me. If someone were to walk in we would be screwed. I then realized Jimin decided to close the small space between my face and his and I automatically knew what he was thinking. With all the force in me, I managed to push him off and with a loud thud; he landed straight on the ground. 

"Yah were you really thinking of kissing me?!" I said as I jumped on him and began punched his sides, well more like tickling.
"What is with you and tickling?" He said trying to grab my hands. 
"Noona!!" All of a sudden we heard the door slam open and a wild Jeongguk appeared. 
"Noona you can't kill someone like this!" He said pulling me off Jimin, "just because he's short and ugly doesn't mean you can commit murder. We sadly still need him on our team." 
"Yah you punk what did you say?" Jimin said getting up and approaching Jeongguk.
"I only said the truth... Hyung. Noona let's go downstairs, were going to play some games and watch a movie with the guys." Jeongguk said and before I could argue he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room.

"Noona keep things PG, there's still a minor living in this house." Jeongguk said as we went down the stairs.
"H-hey what are you talking about?" I said freaking out a little that the maknae might have seen something.
"Noona I'm 17, I know what happens between a boy and a girl, I saw that Jimin hyung was going to kiss you. Don't worry, I won't say anything.... Yet!" He said as he ran away into the living room.

Goodness that kid! He thinks he knows everything but is too afraid to even come into my room or let alone talk to the stylist unnies. That kid. I headed downstairs and then a few minutes later Jimin came down and we all began to play some Korean games which I, Jackson, BamBam, and Mark had no idea how to play so for the most part we sat out and pretended to understand. 

"Yah it's already 3:30 we should get going before we get in trouble." JB announced and pulled the guys up. 
"What really? Wow okay thanks for stopping by." Namjoon said as he shook JB's hand 
"No problem thanks for having us over good bye everyone." JR said.
"I'll walk you guys to the door." I said and headed towards the door.

"Thanks Heejoo for having us over and please take care, stay safe and if you ever need anything give us a call." JB said as he hugged me and headed out. The rest of the members did the same.
"Hey kid, take care. Like JB said, take care and if you need anything, call me first. I'll always be here for you and always remember follow what your heart wants okay?" Mark said as he hugged me. 
"Yes Mark." I said 


*1 month elapse* 
"Yah hurry were going to be late" I said running to the kitchen quickly packing snacks and waters. 
"Heejoo where are my underwear?" Taehyung said as he ran into the kitchen. 
"Check the dryer they should all be washed already, I told Namjoon to fold it but I guess I'll just have to do it later." I said as I closed my backpack and headed towards the door. 
"You guys hurry we're going to be late for practice." I yelled as I put on my shoes.
"Okay okay I'm sure even the neighbors heard you no need to yell that loud." A sleepy Yoongi said as 6 others followed suit. 
"Well maybe if you guys woke up when I told you so I wouldn't have to be yelling." I replied in a snarky tone.
Before Yoongi could say anything we heard a car honk and he quickly pushed past me.
"Yah Heejoo, why do you always have to talk back to hyung?" Hoseok asked me as he walked past me too.
"Because who doesn't love a morning full of excitement." Taehyung and Jeongguk said as they chased after them.
"When will you children learn?" Jin yelled past me and Namjoon laughed after him. 
"Why do I always get in trouble isn't he suppose to be the oldest?" I said under my breathe.
"Yes he is but its cute seeing how frustrated you look babe." A familiar voice said as they wrapped their hands around my waist. 
"Jimin what are you doing someone's going to see." I said "trying" to get his hands off me.
"Whoa babe don’t use too much force now." Jimin sarcastically said as he pulled me in and hugged me. 
"Jimin let's go seriously were going to get in trouble." I said now trying to pull him off me. 
"Okay babe whatever you say." He said pulling away but not before kissing my forehead and running out the door. 
"Yah Park Jimin!" I yelled chasing after him after locking the door.


"Hey dance monsters how can you guys not get a simple two-step?" I said to Seokjin and Namjoon.
"Yah Heejoo we're older respect us you punk!" Jin said frustrated.
"I'm sorry but it’s so simple oppa, we've been working on this 30 minutes already. At this rate we won't learn anymore new choreography." I said in a calmer tone.
"You know what take 5 okay." The choreographer finally said giving up on our dance monsters. 

We all quickly sat down and chugged down our water. As we were joking around, the practice room door opened and we all quickly turned and looked.
"Oh Mr. Bang PDnim, what brings you here?" Namjoon quickly said getting up and all of us following after and bowing.
"Oh nothing, just decided to drop by. How's everything going?" He asked as he took a seat on one of the spare chairs we have in the room.
"Great sir. Just taking a quick break before practicing hard again." Jin said calmly.
"That's great. So, how about you Heejoo? How's everything going?" He said turning towards me. 
"Oh um great it's a lot better now than it was in the beginning." I said smiling nervously.
"That's good. Well now I'll leave you guys to finish practicing, Heejoo can you please see me for a few minutes." Bang PDnim said as he got up.
"What... I mean yes sure let me just put a sweater on." I said running to my backpack and pulling my sweater out.
"Okay, please be in my office in 5" was the last thing he said before walking out. 

"What did you do?" "Did you get into trouble without us knowing?" "Answer us." All of a sudden I heard a bunch of questions and voices behind me.
"I don't know I've been with you guys all the time so I really don't know what I did wrong if I even did anything wrong." I said as I pulled me sweater over my head. "I'll be back; it might not even be something bad, he might have something that my parents must have sent me and maybe wants to ask me more about how I feel being here and all. Let's not jump to conclusions. Be right back." I said and ran out.

As I walked out I couldn't help but get nervous. What if he found out about mine and Jimin's feelings? Is my position in this group at stake? Or what if he thinks this group being co-ed isn't a good idea? Let's not think negatively Heejoo. 

I slowly approached Mr. Bang's office and walked in carefully.
"Hello Mr. Bang." I said stopping in front of his desk bowing.
"Heejoo! Child you actually came, have a seat please." He said gesturing me to sit.
"Of course I would, why wouldn't I?" I asked as I sat.
"Most kids around here usually run away once I call then up to my office that's why." He chuckled, "so I'm sure you're very curious as to why I called you up here." 
I slowly nodded my head and Mr. Bang just smiled.
"Do you feel comfortable with being in an all boy group?" He asked carefully.
"Yea, at first I wasn't because I really never had that many people as friends but with time I learned to actually like them, their like family now." I said.
"Ahh I see well that's good. And do you want to continue being in BTS?" He then asked with a serious expression that caught me off guard.
"Uhh well yes, I've already committed to this group and I've learned to love doing what I do on stage and with them." I answered back calmly.
"Well that's good but me, Namjoon and the rest of the music staff have been talking and I'm thinking of a comeback for maybe next month or the month after that. Namjoon Yoongi and Hoseok already have the whole album ready; we just need to check the songs, record, think of designs, etcetera etcetera etcetera. But I don't think you'll fit into this comeback." Mr. Bang said looking thoughtfully at me. 
"W-w-what do you mean I don't fit into this concept?" I said feeling nervous not knowing where this conversation was going.
"What I'm trying to say is, you will be dropped from BTS." Mr. Bang said smiling at me.
