Yoona knocked on Jonghyun's door. After the CNBLUE members lived with each other for quite a while, they decided to move out and live separately. Jonghyun bought a house with the money that he earned to live in with his family.

 

 

 

Jonghyun opened the door.

 

 

 

"Wow. You look like a panda." Yoona said when she saw Jonghyun's dark circles.

 

 

 

Jonghyun ignored her comment. "What brings you here?"

 

 

 

"Just wanted to spend the last of 2014 with you. It's been a crazy year, hasn't it?"

 

 

 

It was a rough 2014 year for Jonghyun and Yoona. Yoona had to work all year as a member of SNSD. Her group also took a big hit because of scandals. Taeyeon, Sooyoung, and Tiffany all revealed to the public that they were in a relationship. Hyoyeon had a scandal with her ex-boyfriend. Yoona also had a scandal with Lee Seung Gi, but she quickly explained to the public that they were only friends, much to Jonghyun's delight. Last but not least, Jessica left SNSD to pursue her fashion career.

 

 

 

Jonghyun had an easier 2014 compared to Yoona but it was still a tough year for him nonetheless. He was exhausted by the time 2014 was coming to a close. The endless concerts CNBLUE put on for their fans took a toll on Jonghyun.

 

 

 

Jonghyun let out a bright smile after hearing that Yoona wanted to spend time with him.

 

 

 

"I guess Christmas came a bit early."

 

 

 

Yoona took a seat on the couch and started giving Jonghyun a massage. "Yonghwa taught you that line didn't he?"

 

 

 

Jonghyun chuckled. "Yeah. How's your schedules? Is it okay for you to be visiting me right now?"

 

 

 

"I just finished practicing for the Gayo festivals. Tomorrow I have to head over to KBS and practice my lines since I'm the MC for the…"

 

 

 

Jonghyun cut her off. "Yeah. I know." He was upset at the fact that Taecyeon would also be an MC with Yoona for the KBS Gayo festival.

 

 

 

"Still upset?" Yoona asked.

 

 

 

"I trust you but I don't trust him. Who knows what Taecyeon will do to you…" Jonghyun said as he played with Yoona's fingers.

 

 

 

"Don't worry about him. He's probably going to try flirting with me so all I have to do is show that I have no interest in him. He's going to go flirt with someone else. He's a playboy." she reassured.

 

 

 

"Alright. I'll be watching over you two during the show just in case."

 

 

 

"Then maybe I should flirt with him..."

 

 

 

"What? Why would you do that?"

 

 

 

"So I can make you jealous." she said as she chuckled.

 

 

 

"Still trying to play that game?" (reference to the game Jonghyun and Yoona played to make each other jealous in the last chapter)

 

 

 

"Maybe." Yoona said as she smiled to herself.

 

 

 

"Please don't." Jonghyun desperately pleaded. "I'm going to lose."

 

 

 

Yoona let out a hearty laugh. Just then, Jonghyun's older sister walked in the house. She was carrying her one year old baby.

 

 

 

"Hi Yoona! Nice to see you again." his sister greeted.

 

 

 

"What about me noona?"

 

 

 

"Shut up. I see you almost everyday but I only see Yoona once in a while." 

 

 

 

Yoona laughed while Jonghyun glared at his sister.

 

 

 

"Sorry but I'm going to have to leave my baby here since I have to go somewhere. Is that okay with you two?"

 

 

 

"Sure no problem!" Yoona said as she took the baby into her arms.

 

 

 

"Thank you so much! I'll be going now."

 

 

 

"Bye!" Jonghyun and Yoona said as they waved a goodbye.

 

 

 

"What's his name?" she asked when his sister left.

 

 

 

"Minkyu."

 

 

 

"Minkyu-ya!" The little baby looked at Yoona with a blank expression when he heard her call his name. "Aigoo, so cute." she said as she lightly pinched his cheeks. The baby smiled in delight.

 

 

 

Jonghyun felt jealous. He's the baby's uncle but Yoona is better at handling him! He decided to get the boy's attention. "Minkyu-ya! It's me, Uncle Jong." The baby looked at him but then looked back at Yoona a few seconds later.

 

 

 

"Uncle Jong? How childish."

 

 

 

Jonghyun rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

 

 

 

"We should go get something for him to eat." Yoona said as she was about to head over to the kitchen.

 

 

 

"Don't. Stay with him. I'll make it." Jonghyun said as he walked to the kitchen.

 

 

 

Yoona smiled. She was certain he would be a great father someday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Say ahh." Jonghyun said as he held the spoon in the air, waiting for the baby to open his mouth. The baby just stared at the food and refused to open his mouth.

 

 

 

"Here, let me try." Yoona said. Jonghyun glared. He refused to give the spoon to Yoona. For some reason, he had a feeling that Yoona would succeed in getting the baby to eat. And that would make Jonghyun even more jealous of Yoona.

 

 

 

"Look, it's an airplane!" Jonghyun then proceeded to make weird sound effects as he moved the spoon closer and closer to the baby's mouth. The baby still refused to open his mouth. "Aish. You try." he said when he finally gave up.

 

 

 

"Minkyu-ya." Yoona put the spoon near the baby's mouth. "Ahh." The baby opened his mouth and ate the food. "Mm. Delicious, right?" Yoona asked as she wiped the sides of Minkyu's mouth.

 

 

 

The baby clapped in delight and continued eating while Jonghyun struggled to keep his cool the whole time.

 

 

 

After Minkyu finished his meal, Jonghyun went to go find the baby's favorite toy. Jonghyun made a fist pump after finding it. He could finally get the boy's attention. "Minkyu-ya! Look! It's your favorite toy!"

 

 

 

The baby seemed to be showing interest in the toy. "Here. Play with him for a second. I'll be right back." she said as she gave the baby to him.

 

 

 

The baby was now playing with the toy while he was in Jonghyun's lap. Things couldn't have been any more perfect for Jonghyun.

 

 

 

Just then, Yoona came back with a different toy. Minkyu was reaching for the toy as soon as he saw it. "Here you go." she said as she handed the toy with him. Jonghyun boiled in jealousy as he saw the baby playing happily with the toy Yoona brought him. He snatched the toy that Minkyu was previously playing with and decided to play with it in the corner by himself.

 

 

 

"Look at your uncle, Minkyu. He's a loner." Yoona said as he pointed to Jonghyun. Jonghyun rolled his eyes while Yoona stuck her tongue out.

 

 

 

Jonghyun sang the song 'I'm a Loner' while playing with the toy. Suddenly, the baby seemed to be interested in Jonghyun.

 

 

 

"Oh my gosh. He's interested in me now! I have to keep singing!" Jonghyun said as he ran to his room to get his guitar.

 

 

 

Jonghyun started singing a bunch of lullabies for Minkyu until the baby started falling asleep. Yoona took the baby to his room and placed him in the crib. She gave him a kiss on the forehead and Jonghyun did as well. "Good night Minkyu. I don't blame you at all for liking Yoona so much. Because I do too." he said with a chuckle as he turned off the lights.

 

 

 

"You only like me?" Yoona asked as they walked back to the living room.

 

 

 

"No. I love you."

 

 

 

"How much?"

 

 

 

"This much." Jonghyun said as he spread his arms out wide. Yoona walked into his chest and Jonghyun wrapped his arms around her.

 

 

 

"You seem so exhausted." Yoona said as she looked up at his face.

 

 

 

Jonghyun nodded. "It's hard raising a baby."

 

 

 

"Get used to it. You're going to have to help me raise our baby in the future."

 

 

 

The two of them smiled as Jonghyun tightened his hug.
