Jin Ri's visit
Identitas10. Jin Ri's visit
We finish our meal and after paying we make our way to our houses.
“Do you want to stay a bit?” I ask as we arrive at my apartment’s building.
“I’m supposed to go shopping with halmeoni for food. I guess she’s waiting for me already,” Luhan looks at his wrist watch declining my offer.
I usually protest and try to convince him to stay which always results, but I remember about tonight. I’m supposed to meet Lay and when Luhan stays in my house, he usually stays until night having dinner there too. Knowing that, I don’t think I would be able to meet Lay so I don’t protest against Luhan.
“Oh … okay. I’m going in then,” I say as I nod.
“Be careful okay? I don’t want to go visit you at the hospital again, alright?” Luhan points his finger at me while warning. I give him thumbs up and he approaches me. “Call me whenever you feel like,” he smiles and pats my head.
“Okay,” I wave. He waves back and leaves to his house.
As I enter inside the elevator I can’t help but think about tonight. Just by the mere thoughts my stomach seems to tickle a bit and I feel anxious. I smile at my reflection in the elevator’s mirror. “Why am I acting so weird? He’s just a friend, goodness,” I shake my head and try not to think about it.
I’m finally inside my room. I look at my opened portfolio which has my current projects, including the one with him. I sigh and lay on my bed. I don’t feel like going to finish them. As I’m starring to my blankest-of-all-blanks ceil with an empty mind, my phone rings.
I lazily get up and get my phone that is on my desk. I look at the ID and I quickly pick up the call.
“Yah! You went to the hospital and didn’t even tell me? What happened to you? Is it serious? Are you okay?” Jin Ri attacks me with questions as she doesn’t even breath in between.
I don’t contain myself and chortle “I was in the hospital, how could I tell you? By the way, how did you know?” I reply with questions too.
“That’s true. Still you should have told me you were sick. I have my connections,” I feel her smirking in the other side.
“I know it was Luhan don’t need to hide the obvious,” I tell her.
“Ugh. You’re right. I can’t lie to you. Well, when can I see you?” she asks.
“Whenever you want. Just come to my house. I’ll be waiting for you,” I say as I know that the call will be over soon.
“Alright. I’ll just dress something else up and leave. See ya. Kiss,”
“Bye,” I end up the call and hang up.
As I turn around I glance at my slightly clumsy room. My shoulders fall as I feel like throwing a tantrum so I don’t have to tidy the room. Unwillingly, I drag my feet and start tidying the room. It’s not that I’m embarrassed to show the room like it is to Jin Ri, but since she comes to my house I have a reason to tidy it and so my mom won’t scold me for having a messy room.
I put the white pillow with a mustache on it above the bed, which I had just done and clap my hands as if taking the dust of my hands.
Half an hour passes and I’m still waiting f
