Taehyung, a God of Death, has taken over 100 of lives from humans without regrets or sympathy. After taking the life of an elder, he's then assigned to a new human, this time a little girl. He wants to end her life quick, but she refuses because she wants to enjoy the remainder of her life happy with no regrets. He listens to her request and follows her around as she continues her life as a free-spirited child. Being with her, Taehyung begins to understand the meaning of life and what it means to be happy, to smile and to have fun. As her life comes to an end, he's hesitant on taking her life away, he doesn't want her to die and he's hurting inside like a human would for someone they cared for. On her last day, he does something no other God of Death would do....
