The Wedding Crasher

Chapter I – Unlucky

.

“I’ll ruin his best day for you, Bom. I promise.”

Dara smacked herself for being stupid. Why did she have to make that promise? It’s not like she had a plan before she blurted out that stupid sentence!

Settling herself in the chair in-front of her study table, she couldn’t help but ruffle her already messy hair.

Now what? Now she’s the one who’s having a problem…but every time she remembers Bom’s broken state made her see red.

“Argggggh! I hate this!”

‘But I can’t back out. I’ll teach that bastard a lesson he’ll never forget.’ She thought furiously. She then took a pen and a paper to list down the characteristics of Bom’s ex-boyfriend that her broken friend had informed her.

He’s:

[x] Blond

[x] Handsome

[x] Not that tall

[x] Fashion Icon

[x] y, Hot

[x] Head-turner

Reading her messy handwriting, she tried to imagine her friend’s ex-boyfriend’s features. No wonder Bom wouldn’t want to let go of the guy, and she couldn’t help but feel sorry for the two of them—seeing that they’re a perfect couple. Bom is equally faultless as her ex-boyfriend’s traits.

Sighing, she made a bubble face, looking at her room’s ceiling while thinking of a plan. She’ll just do what you think she’s gonna do. She’s gonna interrupt the nuptial ceremony before the couple could do the wedding kiss.

‘I’m such a genius!’ Dara thought childishly, smiling to herself like an idiot. ‘Now, the wedding will be on Saturday afternoon and will be held at—'

The smile she had started to fade away when she realized something.

“WHERE WILL THE WEDDING BE HELD?!”

“I know you’re an idiot, Dara-noona, but will you please stop doing that?!” Sanghyun darkly hissed when his patience finally left its place. He knows that his sister is stupid, clumsy and an idiot but not to this extent.

Sanghyun was just happily eating his dinner that his girlfriend had prepared for him, when his older sister entered the dining room, settled herself into her usual chair and started banging her head on the table. He chose to ignore it at first, but the longer it takes, the more he got annoyed.

Dara looked at him, eyes squinting into a straight line as if she was drunk. “What I do in my life isn’t your business.” She stated before she continued knocking her (useless) head on the table. Sanghyun just rolled his eyes at his sister.

“Noona, doing that will only make you dumber,” He shrugged, “Your choice, though.” He added before he resumed eating his delicious meal.

Dara suddenly lifted her head. She then stared weirdly at the wall in-front of her, ruffling her hair afterwards. “I’M SO S-T-U-P-I-D!” She then exclaimed.

“I’m surprised you know what is the spelling of stupid, my idiotic noona.” said Sanghyun mockingly.

She flicked her brother’s nose playfully. “YAH! Stop acting like you’re cool when you are so not!” 

Sanghyun scoffed, “I’m not acting cool, coz I really am.”

“Says the one who’s still peeing on his bed at night...” She teased. Sanghyun, on the other hand, covered before whispering, “Somebody might hear you, pabo!”

The next thing Dara knew is that it’s already Saturday. Dara cursed her luck. She still didn’t have the slightest idea of where that stupid wedding’s going to occur.

Not knowing what to do, she decided that she’ll just go to the nearest church in their area. She hoped that she’ll spot a certain good-looking blond in the ceremony, or else...

She shook her head and tried to be optimistic. She cannot back out now. Everybody knows that Park Sandara never gives up.

She crossed her fingers, wishing herself luck. Confident enough, she strolled her way to the nearest church.

Dara peeked at the gap between the huge doors and thanked the stars. Lady Luck must be with her today. With her clear eye-sight that is twenty-twenty, she could see the details of the wedding guests.  She couldn’t help but feel ecstatic when she saw a good-looking y blond, together with another handsome guy, both were standing in-front of the altar, looking so delighted.

‘Today is the last day you’ll smile like that, you cheater!’

She then heard the melody of Wedding March, and saw another beautiful blonde slowly walking her way towards the pedestal.

Not wanting to waste her luck, she decided that she’ll launch her 'genius' plan. She furiously made her way to the blond fashion icon, ignoring the confused stares from the guests, and slapped him—hard.

“What the hell—”

The bride and the guests could only gape at her. Pleased with herself, she continued doing her show by slapping him again.

“You bastard! How dare you cheat on my bestfriend like that?!” She accused, throwing death glares at her friend’s ex-boyfriend, who’s looking at her as if she was insane.

“I don’t know what you’re talk—”

“Don’t give me that bull! Leaving my friend like that when she thought you’re finally the one! Then you’ll tell her that you’re gonna get married and wished her good luck?! How low can you get?!”

“Uhm—”

Dara then turned to the beautiful bride, bowing her head and started to apologize.

“I’m sorry for ruining your wedding, but he’s really not worth it. I suggest you leave him now before you regret it.” She gave the bride an awkward grin.

As if she didn’t ruin their wedding, the bride laughed at her. “You’re funny! AHAHAHA!” The bride and the guests couldn’t stop laughing, including the handsome man who’s beside the blond boy—who’s now looking as if he was about to murder someone.

“I’m Chaerin, soon to be Mrs. Lee.” The bride gave her a smile. “Jiyong’s not my groom. He’s only our best man.” The bride giggled, then started to point at the other one and said, “That’s Seungri, and he’s the one who's gonna be with me forever. I didn’t know that my wedding day’s gonna be this memorable.”

Eyes widened, she bowed and started to apologize once again. “OH MY GOD! I’M SORRY FOR RUINING YOUR WEDDING! JUST FORGET ME AND GO ON WITH THE CEREMONY! BYE!” She then ran as fast as she could.

‘Interesting girl,’ They all thought except for someone who just have been slapped twice.

‘I’m going to kill that girl! Slapping me in-front of everyone like that!’

She found herself in her room.

Dara once again cursed her luck. So much for being so unlucky. She couldn’t believe it! She’ll never forget what had happened today for the rest of her life!

Her phone started to ring, she checked it and it was Bom.

“Yeoboseyo?” She answered in a tired tone.

“Dara, I forgot to tell you something!” Bom exclaimed on the other line.

“Yeah, you forgot to tell me where it is gonna be hel—“

“I know, and I’m too broken that I forgot to inform you that their wedding is going to be held at America!”

Dara couldn’t believe it. “WHAT?!” She wasted her time and her efforts! 

“You see, it turned out he’s gay.” Okay now she’s sure she’s gonna kill Bom’s ex-boyfriend!

 “...”

“And they’re having gay marriage.”

Dara fainted.
