They are walking holding each other’s hand, looking around. There are beautiful historical sites around the town.  There are old temples and palaces from the different dynasties of the past. There are many tourists around the area.

Dara felt a little bit shy because other people look at them weirdly.

Chaerin noticed it “don’t mind them, they are just jealous because they are not as lucky as I am for having you by my side” she whispered to Dara sweetly and kissed her on the cheeks

Dara just smiled at her and blush.  They continue walking until they reached an old temple, probably from around the Chosun dynasty.

“Wow this place is so incredible!” Dara exclaimed “I wonder how many royal bloods visited this place?”

“Many of course, this temple is built for the royal family belonging to the Chosun dynasty” Chaerin answered proudly

“ Chosun?” Dara ask curiously

“ Yeah Chosun! are you not reading your own country’s history?” Chaerin chuckled

“ aishhh…we don’t have Korean history in our class” Dara answered feeling embarrassed

“ Wae? You are Korean so you should study our country’s history. Do you even know how to sing our national anthem?” she said teasing Dara

“ uhmmm…not that much. All my life the national anthem I know so well is the Star Spangled Banner”

Chaerin laugh at Dara “ aishhhh, you should at least learn how to sing our anthem, even a pre-schooler can sing it”

“Yah stop laughing! It’s not my fault that I grew up in the States” Dara said pouting then pinch Chaerin’s waist

“Ouch, that hurts”

“You deserve it”

Chaerin stopped laughing then pull Dara for a hug “just joking, it doesn’t matter if you don’t know, I will still like you” she said sweetly

Dara smiled enjoying Chaerin’s sweetness. Then hereye caught a very odd tree at the right side of the temple. She broke the hug

“Look at that tree Chae, it’s so cute” She said dragging Chaerin towards the tree

The tree is full of blossoms. What’s odd about it is it has many pieces of small square wood tied on its branches. Each tied in pairs.

“Wow it’s so cute” Dara looks really amazed “do you know what those are Chae?”

One of the monks passing by heard Dara’s question. He approaches them and smiled at them

The two bowed politely when they saw him get near

“That is called the love tree; those pieces of woods are called love bonds”

The two is listening attentively while glancing at the tree

“Married couples write their names on the love bonds and tie it in the love tree. In that way they will stay together forever”

“Where do they get the love bonds?” Chaerin ask curiously

“Inside the temple. But you have to be married for it to take effect” the monk said then left them smiling

Chaerin held Dara’s hand “Let’s go get one” Then pull Dara inside the temple

“ What are you doing Chae, did you not hear?, it’s effect is for married couples only” Dara protested when Chaerin is taking a pair of love bonds from the temple altar.

She looked at Dara and grin “Then I’ll marry you now”

“ Seriously Chae, that’s crazy” Dara said chuckling

“ No it’s not crazy. Come here.” Chaerin took Dara’s hand and walk her toward the altar

Chaerin stare at Dara’s eyes lovingly. She took a deep breath “ Sandara Park, I’ve only known you for a very short time, but I know deep inside this heart of mine is where you belong” she took dara’s hand and place it in her chest “ I never felt this way with any one before. You make my heart beat like crazy, you make me always happy, you always make do things I have never imagined I would do, you even made me eat vegetable omelet which I really hate” Both of them chuckled. “Will you take me as your wife? Because me, I really, really would love to be yours” Chaerin said kissing both Dara’s hand

Dara is speechless. Her heart is beating so fast. She doesn’t know what to say to Chaerin. Everything that Chaerin said made her feel so happy. She is staring at Chaerin lovingly “ uhmmm… eventhough we both know that this is just a make believe wedding” She said giggling. Chaerin smiled at her “Yes, Lee Chaerin, I will take you as my wife, even though you are arrogant and always loves to tease me, I will be your wife” Dara smiled sweetly

“Wait the ring!” Chaerin said taking something from her pocket

Dara was shock when she saw Chaerin took out a pair of ring from her pocket

“Wow you are not prepared ha? You actually brought a ring?” Dara said sarcastically

Chaera chuckled “Just in case”

She put the ring in Dara’s finger, Dara did the same.

“I now pronounce us newlyweds” Chaerin said softly. She cupped Dara’s face and kisses her passionately on the lips

Dara is smiling in between their kisses “I think I am falling for you my Chae or should I say my wifey” She thought silently

When they broke the kiss Chaerin is smiling ear to ear. “Now that we are married, let’s go write our names and tie these love bonds on the tree” Chaerin said excitedly

“There! Together forever” Chaerin exclaimed happily as she ties the love bonds on the tree.

“ uh excuse me, only married couples should tie love bonds in there” one tourist said when she saw Chaerin tying the love bond

Chaerin glare at the tourist then took Dara’s hand wearing the ring “We’re married. See?” She said in a cold voice showing both the ring that they are wearing

The tourist ducks her head “oh. I am sorry” then left

Dara smiled at Chaerin. “She really is sincere” Dara is thinking silently “together forever? I would really   like that”
