They have been driving around town for almost two hours already. They are having a hard time locating the last address of Dara’s father. The town zoning has been changed for the past year so some addresses does not exist no more or have change names.

Dara is so frustrated, Chaerin can tell because deep sigh and frowns she has been doing for the past hour. She stopped the car on the side of the road.

“ Hey, you okay?” Chaerin ask worriedly holding Dara’s hand

“Nope, not really… I am scared Chae, what if I don’t find him?” Dara said almost crying

“Come on don’t say that. We will find him. Trust me okay” Chaerin hug Dara tightly

“If you are not here Chae, I don’t know where I would end up” Dara thought silently hugging Chaerin tighter.

It was almost lunch when they came across a small house. An average age lady was sitting by the porch reading a magazine.

They went out of the car and approach the lady

“Good evening mam” Chaerin and Dara bowed politely

The lady looked at them and smiled “yes, what can I do for you?”

“ uhmm…is this address happen to be this house?” Chaerin said showing the piece of paper where the address of Dara’s father is written

The lady looked at the paper. Dara grip Chaerin’s hand hoping the lady would finally say that this is the house.

“That is not the address of this house” she said looking at Chaerin

Dara feels really disappointed. Chaerin held her hand tighter

The lady smiled “that is the old address of this house”

Dara couldn’t believe what she just heard. Her heart is beating so fast; this is the moment she has been waiting for.

Chaerin looked at Dara and nod at her smiling widely

“Are you sure ma’am?” Chaerin ask making sure she heard it right

“Of course I am. That is the address before they changed the zoning of this town” She said confidently

“Do-does Han In Sung still live here?” Dara said stuttering

The lady’s facial expression changed. She took a deep breath “That poor guy. He used to rent a room here. Why do you know him?” she asked sadly

“ uhmmm. I ... I am his daughter” Dara said softly

“So you are the one he can’t stop talking about. Always saying how he wishes to see you and hold you.” The lady gave a faint sincere smile to Dara

Dara’s tears are about to fall when she heard what the lady said. “He has not forgotten me at all” she thought

When Chaerin noticed Dara’s silence “you said ‘used to live’. Where is he now?”

“He moved to Seoul many years ago”

“Do you know where in Seoul” Chaerin asked

“ uhmm, wait here, I have his address I will be back” the lady rushed inside her house

Dara hug Chaerin tightly “He did not forget me at all Chae” she said while tears are flowing

“ shhh… I told you everything will be okay” Chaerin said softly, wiping Dara’s tears with her thumb “we will go back to Seoul and we will find him there. You’ll see him soon so don’t worry” Chaerin hug her gently rubbing her back to calm her down.

“Here it is!” The lady suddenly appears. The two broke the hug. The lady just smiled at them.

“Here, this is his address in Seoul. I hope you see him soon. He has been praying for the day that he would see you.” the lady’s voice is hopeful and cheerful at the same time.

Dara smiled back sincerely “Thank you so much for helping us”

“You are welcome” The lady said smiling widely

“Goodbye and thank you again” Chaerin bowed her head then the two waved goodbye

Before they could enter the car the lady spoke again “ uhm, miss… you father loves you so much” then wave her hand

Dara just nodded her head lightly then entered the car. She was so happy now even though she hasn’t seen him yet. But the fact that he never forgot about her made her feel really happy.

“ So when would you like us to go back to Seoul?” Chaerin ask Dara. They are eating in a restaurant

“ I would really like to go back tomorrow. I will just take the bus. I know you still have a client here.” She said softly

Chaerin immediately protested and hold dara’s hand “how many times do I have to tell you that there is no way I would let you go alone.”

“But you still-“

“No buts. For me, you are more important than the most important things there is. Okay? I can handle losing a client but I can’t handle it if something bad happens to you” Chaerin said moving closer to Dara

Dara is happily blushing hearing Chaerin’s words.  “She is so sweet” She thought then hugs Chaerin

“ Thank you Chae. Thank you for bumping into my life. I am really so happy and so lucky I met you”

Chaerin loosens the hug then cupped Dara’s face “It was you who bumped in me remember?” She said giggling

Dara giggled too

“Seriously, you don’t have to thank me because seeing you happy makes me happy so, it’s me who should thank you. Thank you for letting me show you how much I care for you and for letting me be a part of your life.” Chaerin said sincerely staring lovingly into Dara’s eyes.

She slowly leaned closer and claims Dara’s soft lips. Dara closed her eyes and responded to Chaerin’s kiss. They were kissing gently and softly for a few moments then Chaerin broke the kiss.

She looked at her watch “we still have plenty of time to tour around. So let’s go!” she said standing up holding Dara’s hand.

“Where to?” Dara asked smiling

“Everywhere!” Chaerin exclaimed interlocking their fingers then peck at Dara’s lips
