Starting from the age of birth all the way to one's Assignment Date, two children are automatically assigned together by the Goddess of Love who stands above them in the sacred institution of worships and prayers. In this religion, it is a custom to keep the two fated children tightly bonded together as they grow up, and once they reach the age of 18, they are free of any choice to proceed in life together.
It was just a few days ago when Hyuna turned 18, the age in which teenagers are finally and legally considered adults. She has been waiting forever for this day not for Kevin, but for finally being looked at as an adult and not having her parents complain to her anymore. At times she finds him so captivating, and in those moments, she wants to reach her arms out and hug him. But there are moments in which he upsets her and hurts her to the point where her cries are the only things that soothes her.
She never thinks that this minor hatred toward him will ever change, but her opinion of him minimally breaks apart when he invites her to a pool party he created one weekend.
“Nothing pleasing,” he remarks, scrutinizing her thin body as she blushes, covers herself up with a towel and throws a kick at him.
“Shut up! I didn't come here to please you! I only came here because you asked me to!” she loudly and angrily replies, causing attention as Kevin chuckles and tells her to quiet down.
“Alright. You don't have to get mad,” he says, now staring at the clear body of water in fron
