Junhyung wiped the sweat off the back of his neck, trying to stop the river flowing out from under his hair. This was hard work, but he was kind of proud of himself. Not only had they procured a mountain of coconuts, giving them a chance for survival, but they had managed to drag it all the way over here. His biceps complained something fierce, but even though it hurt, it gave him a good feeling. He was trying to live only in the moment, to not think of his girlfriend and family back home, to not think about the fact that they only had a few fruits and a scant amount of water, just enough to get them through today. What came tomorrow was anyone's guess. As the knot in his stomach grew, he tried to push the thought away.

“Woa! Dongwoon-ah! Who knew you had such nice abs!” Junho exclaimed surprised. Dongwoon grinned, almost posing. Junhyung could swear he had contracted his stomach to make them even more pronounced. He felt annoyed. Was this really the right focus in a life threatening situation? Dongwoon's abs? Growing more pissed off, he pulled Dongwoon's shirt out from under the coconut-mountain, making them roll and fall in all directions. “Wha..?” Dongwoon gave him a perplexed look as he used the shirt to cover Dongwoon's front.

As the coconuts rolled away, the 2PM boys went wild chasing after them. “Caught one!” Wooyoung shouted overly excited. “Me too!” Chansung smiled, barely awake, looking at the three coconuts he was holding. “Hey! Woo, gimme your coconut!” Taecyeon put out his hand, expecting him to hand it over just like that. Wooyoung put the coconut behind his back, “Get your own!” he said playfully. “Oh okay, so you wouldn't like me to open it then? Oh well, I'll just open Chansung's instead shall I?” Taecyeon said theatrically, acting like he was preparing to go over to Chansung. Wooyoung quickly handed him his coconut. Taecyeon chuckled triumphantly and started banging the coconut forcefully on a stone he had found.

Taecyeon gave up, this was impossible. The coconut simply refused to open, holding its refreshing juicy inside hostage. Doojoon joined him, bringing a melon over. “Maybe you'll have more luck with this one.” Doojoon watched with anticipation as Taecyeon lifted it high up, hammering it down with such force that it split in four. “YEAH!” Taecyeon shouted, giving Doojoon a beaming high-five. Everyone around them broke into loud cheering. Yoseob jumped up into Doojoon's arms, squeaking with joy. Wooyoung hugged Taecyeon tightly with a 'you are the greatest' twinkle in his eyes. Taecyeon felt as if he was on top of the world, saving the day was a good feeling.

Doojoon and Yoseob brought over the rest of the melons with the help of Kikwang and Dongwoon. One after another Taecyeon broke them open, the crowd of boys around him applauding and cheering every time. As he broke open the last one, everyone watched him, holding their breaths. “Dig in!” Taecyeon announced, grabbing a big piece for himself, basking in the glory, getting a thousand pats on the shoulder. This was life, he thought as he feasted on the delicious melon slice, well aware of Wooyoung's admiring eyes, sizing him up.

“Are you sure you're okay?” Nichkhun wrinkled his eyebrows, the raindrops bouncing off them. Everyone was gearing up to start diving, the atmosphere had a nervous but excited vibe to it. Chansung nodded giggling, those bushy eyebrows made all of Nichkhun's expressions so dramatic. “One, two, three.. ten fingers.” Nichkhun counted as he touched each one of Chansung's fingers. Chansung's insides tingled, making him chuckle. Nichkhun bent down, “One, two, three, four.. ten toes.”. “Okay you seem to be intact.” Nichkhun commented as he stood up again, examining Chansung's face worriedly. “If you feel you have to rest up some more, nobody is going to hold it against you.” he added. “Hyung, I'm fine. I want to help.” Chansung put his hand lightly on Nichkhun's arm, squeezing it a bit. “Ouch!” Nichkhun complained. “Uh oh.. he he, sorry.” Chansung grinned sheepishly, he was only going to squeeze it lightly to put Nichkhun at ease, but forgot to mind his strength.

Yunho poked Taecyeon in the side, getting his attention. Taecyeon was already pumped up and ready to go. “You're going down.” Yunho said under his breath, winking at him provocatively. Psyched up and determined, Taecyeon didn't bother waiting for the go-ahead and disappeared into the ocean. G-Dragon finished the melon slice Taecyeon had brought him and waded out to sea as well. Yunho put his hand on Nichkhun's shoulder. “So, should we give Taec a run for his money?” Yunho asked him with a devious smile on his face. “I think it's your money that's in jeopardy.” Nichkhun said irked, shaking Yunho's hand off his shoulder. “Come on Chansung, let's show them how it's done!”, Chansung's back he glared at Yunho. Chansung didn't have to be told twice, already scanning the surface for a good place to start.

With great difficulty Changmin had gathered all of the Beast boys together under the protection of the leafy forest roof. The rain had subsided a bit, but it was still pouring down. They all stared back at him with fear in their eyes. Changmin didn't really know what to say, he cursed Yunho under his breath for putting him in this position. “So, we're going..”, as Changmin finally started talking, the leaves high above him caved in and a splash of water landed on his head. Gulping he could feel as the cold water ran down his back and into his boxers, the only thing the rain hadn't gotten to yet. Doojoon and Yoseob glanced at each other before bursting with laughter, the others following suit. Changmin was annoyed, let's see how much they would laugh if it was their underwear getting drenched! He gave them a death stare. The sound of laughter stopped so abruptly that the silence that followed became so awkward that it physically hurt.

“Don't we need two judges, to ensure fair play and all that.. huh? Wooyoung-ah?” Minjun nudged Wooyoung, giving him a quick 'we're on the same team, right?'-wink. “No.” Wooyoung said plainly, trying to keep his face serious but a bratty smile broke through. He pretended to be monitoring the contestants, looking intently out to sea to hide it, but it was too late. That bratty little smile had already melted Minjun, who hugged him so tightly that his bones were in danger of being crushed. Wooyoung gave up and giggled happily. “Who do you think's going to win?” Wooyoung asked once Minjun had finally released his iron grip on him. Minjun didn't say anything, but a mischievous smile spread over his face.

Hyunseung looked at the coconut with murderous eyes, banging it on the stone for what felt like the millionth time. He felt the coconut staring back at him with contempt. “I will get you open, you hear! Even if it'll be the last thing that I do..”.
