Eight.

Yul groaned in frustration, the knock sounds on his door could be heard clearly. He got up from the couch, then walked lazily to the front door. To his surprise, the man that he didn't expect to see in the morning stood in front of him.

"Yoong? What are you doing?" Yul raised his eyebrow

"where's Fany?" Yoong ignored the question, and walked pass him

"she's sleeping, it's too early for you to come, what do you want?" Yul asked irritatedly

"from now on, i'll take her to campus everyday and after class i'll drive her home.." Yoong sat on the couch

"and why will you do that?" Yul frowned, totally confused

"doesn't she tell you that i'm her boyfriend now?"

"boyfriend?"

Before Yul got the answer, Tiffany came out from bedroom, rubbing her eyes sleepily. Her eyes widen immadiately when she noticed the presence of her new boyfriend.

"Yoong?" Tiffany smiled widely

"morning.." Yoong greeted with a warm smile

Tiffany walked to her boyfriend and the latter gave her a kiss on the cheek. Meanwhile, Yul just stared at them while clenching his fists tightly. He couldn't believe what he just saw. Boyfriend? Yul scoffed, he kicked the chair beside him, then walked pass them to the bathroom with Tiffany's eyes followed him.

"what's wrong with him?" Yoong asked confusedly

Tiffany didn't know why she felt uneasy with the fact that Yul knowing her relationship with Yoong. She didn't dare to look at his eyes. He's so scary when he got mad.

"hey, will you accompany me to find a gift for my mother later? Today is her birthday, and i need your opinion to choose the gift.." Yoong asked, snapping her back to reality

"sure.." Tiffany smiled

"Jessica is a brat, Taeng. She's using you, not dating you.."

"don't say bad things about her, Sunny.."

"it's the truth, Taeng. You're just gonna end up hurting yourself.."

Taeng sighed, "i love Jessica, okay? And i can finally get her, so please let me be with her.."

"alright, i'm just trying to tell you. We're bestfriend, so i don't want you to suffer in the end.." with that, the girl named Sunny left

Taeng sighed, leaning his back on the chair. If Sunny's words were true, what would he do? Should he find out about it or just trust his girlfriend?

Before he could get the answer, his girlfriend came. Somehow that girl could make him forget about anything. Maybe he should trust his girlfriend.

"Taetae ~"

"yes, baby?"

"i'm hungry ~"

Taeng chuckled, "don't pout like that, sweety. Let's get something to eat, come on!"

"yeaay!"

"baby.." he called softly

"hmm?" she looked up

"i love you.." he smiled

"i know.." she smiled back

Yul sighed for the umpteenth time, he couldn't stop thinking about the certain girl with her new boyfriend. It's been 3 hours since he stucked in a club. He didn't want to go home yet, he didn't want to face her.

"why do i feel this way? Why should i care about her?"

He ruffled his hair in frustration, took one last gulp of his vodka, then left the club eventually. He kicked an empty can lazily till he reached the apartment building.

The doorman greeted him, but he chose to ignore. He took the elevator to reach 6th floor. When he stepped outside, he found his door left opened and heard someone screaming.

"Tiffany?" he recognized the voice, and rushed to rescue

He found a bunch of men inside his place, and they were hurting Tiffany. Anger built up automatically, and he kicked all the men hardly till they fell onto the floor.

"don't you dare to touch her!!!!" he shouted furiously

"Yul!!" she cried and he hugged her instantly

"who are you?!! What the are you doing in my place??!!"

"we're here to collect her debts.." one of the men said, probably the leader

"debts?" he frowned in confusion

"yes, her father left so much debts, and we won't let it go easily. She has to pay it all.."

Yul massage his temples. He took a deep breath to control his anger, and exhaled lightly. He thought of the way to solve this problem, he didn't want Tiffany to live in danger.

"let's talk about it outside, don't take her into this case.." Yul finally said

"but she has the responsibility to pay it.." the guy complained

"i'll take the resposibility, now get out.."

"wait here, okay?" Yul cupped Tiffany's face with one hand

"but-"

"i'll take care of it.."

"no.." she held his hand tightly

"trust me.." he said sternly, and she nodded weakly

Yul exited the apartment, and talked with the leader. Meanwhile, Tiffany sat on the couch, mixture emotions filled her chest. It was her fault, and Yul once again helped her.

"how much do you need?" she could hear Yul's voice outside the door

"2 million dollars.."

Yul frowned even more. How could he get that money? He worked in a construction, and to earn 2 million dollars probably took some years. He should find a way to solve this problem.

"why? Too much?" the leader smirked

"......"

"the money should be ready next week, we'll come here again to take it.."

"......"

"say something!!" the leader yelled

"give me more time.." Yul said finally

"no.."

"i can get much money in a short time! Dammit!"

The leader laughed, "well, let's make a deal.."

"what deal?"

"work with me till you're able to pay it.." the leader said simply

"what job?"

"street fighter. You have well-build body, and your kick is pretty good. You'll be a good fighter.."

"......"

"i don't have much time. Or you want her to be my slave?" the leader smirked

"no! I'll take the job, but don't ever get near her again.." Yul gritted his teeth

"deal!" the leader laughed

Yul clenched his fist. Why should he bother to help that girl? She had a boyfriend after all, and her boyfriend was a rich guy. That guy could easily pay all the debts.

"better come to my place tomorrow, got it?" the leader gave him an address and left

Yul sighed and closed his eyes. Is it the right thing to do? Should he help her? Or is it better to tell her boyfriend about it? He ruffled his hair in frustration then stepped into his apartment. Tiffany rushed to hug him, and he hugged her back.

"everything will be fine, trust me.." he whispered to her ear and she nodded
