"arrggh.."

Yul groaned in pain, his head was slightly spinning, vision a bit blurry. He rested for awhile on a bench, hoping that the pain would be gone. He closed his eyes for a moment, and felt a tap on his shoulder.

"Yul?"

Hearing his name being called, he opened his eyes. A girl stood in front of him, even though he couldn't see clearly who it was but he could recognize the voice.

"Yul, you okay? What happened to you?"

"Jessica?"

"yes, it's me.."

"uggh.." he groaned again, trying to get up

"let me help you.." she rushed to his side

He couldn't reject her offer, so he let her helped him. She led him to her car, and drove off soon. She constantly stole glances at him, and couldn't help to wonder how did he get those wounds.

She wanted to ask, but she held herself not to ask. She helped him got out from her car, and held his hand during their way to the 6th floor. She took his keys from his pocket, and opened the door, revealing Tiffany and Yoong inside.

"Jessica?" Yoong was surprised to see his ex

"Yoong?" Jessica had the same expression as him

"Yul!!"

Tiffany rushed to help Yul. She led him to the bedroom and took first aid kit. Meanwhile, Jessica and Yoong were trapped into an awkward moment. They didn't say things, they just stared at each other, oblivious with Tiffany and Yul.

"i gotta go, Tiffany. Take care of him.." Jessica said, quickly left before Tiffany could answer her

"uhm, Fany. Can i go now? I'll pick you up tomorrow morning.." Yoong said, giving a peck on his girlfriend lips

"drive safely.." Tiffany squeezed his hand

"i will.."

Yoong smiled and left. Taking the elevator, he couldn't help to think about his encounter with his ex. He found Jessica about to enter her car, so he sped up his pace, and quickly grabbed her hand.

"Yoong?"

"uhm, Sica.."

"yes?"

Yoong bit his bottom lip. Why did he approach her anyway? What should he say now? That was really awkward, his brain shut down completely.

"be safe.."

"......"

"well, you too.."

Jessica smiled nervously, and Yoong nodded. It was really awkward. She entered her car, started the engine, and with one last glance she drove off soon.

"what the hell did i just do?" Yoong questioned to himself

Yul hissed in pain as Tiffany placed an ice pack on his purple cheek. She treated his wounds in the most gentle way, not wanting to hurt him more.

"what happened to you actually?"

"......"

"how could you end up like this?"

"......"

"please answer, who did this to you?"

"no one.."

"is it because of the deal you made with that jock?"

"......"

She sighed, "quit the deal, i'll take care of the debts by myself.."

"no.." he said stubbornly

"but it's ridiculous, look at yourself!" she raised her voice

"......"

"i just don't want you to get hurt.." she soften her tone

"i'm a man, i can handle it. Trust me.."

"......"

"just don't worry too much.."

She hugged him slowly, burried her face into his neck as he slowly wrapped his hands around her. They feel connected somehow, wishing this moment would last forever, they just didn't know to end it.

"you trust me right, Tiff?" he whispered softly

"i do.." she nodded against his neck

"that's what i want to hear.." he smiled, unnoticed to her
