The Night
Description
Every 10 years at the of midnight on the 2nd of January, two groups of boys coming from the most prestigious fighting families burning with a fiery passion and pride step out into a stadium full of cheering people ready for the one night event where they get to fight it out for the grandest prize of them all.
Who will be the final winner?
Foreword
On a brisk night in the middle of nowhere away from civilization, a large stadium standing long and wide right in the middle of the bare desert can be seen. The millions of stars in the night sky illuminate the stadium just enough to see the sea of people chattering loudly and anxiously as they wait for the night to begin. The middle of the stadium though is pitch black to keep the battle field a mystery to those viewing.
“Who do you think will win this year, appa?” An eager young boy asks an older man sitting next to him
“Who knows, you know how these things are. They’re unpredictable, anything can happen. Lets just hope this following decade will be as prosperous as the last one.”
The younger boy nods and looks over admiringly at the two families sitting miles apart in opposite ends of each other in the stadium. The two families that hold so much power, that take care of the people, and are so modest in their teachings to their people; they are the Shiro and Kuro clan.
