Quality time

Change can be good

“Eli?” Yunhee called out as she was sitting on the kitchen counter. “Yeah?” Eli called back from the living room. “What do you want to eat for dinner? I feel like making something.” Eli lazily walked in the kitchen. “Something with lots of meat.” Yunhee just nodded. “I’ll go shopping then.” Eli gave thumps up as Yunhee jumped down from the counter. “Should I come with you?” Yunhee glared back at Eli as she shook her head. “I’m stopping by my sunbae’s house, so it would just be a waste of time for you.” Eli suddenly smirked. “Is that the guy you made the love letter for?” Yunhee suddenly got a nervous look. “No..” Eli tilted his head. “Liar.” Yunhee just pouted as she quickly tried to walk away. Eli stopped her as she was almost at the front door. “I’m coming with you, end of story.” Yunhee frowned as she cursed Eli under her breath. “This guy..”

Hoon looked almost shocked to see Eli next to Yunhee as he greeted them at the door. “Why the hell is Eli with you?” Eli frowned as he looked at Hoon. “Always a pleasure mate.” Hoon just glared at him. Yunhee nervously looked at the tension between the two of them. “For your information.. She lives with me, so I need to make sure she doesn’t get into trouble.” Yunhee narrowed her eyes at Eli. “You are the trouble.” Eli nudged Yunhee with his elbow as he gritted his teeth at her. Yunhee turned too Hoon. “I’m sorry to just come unannounced but I need the music sheets for the Vivaldi piece. I’m thinking of sending in an application for Seoul Music Academy.” Hoon’s eyes got wide. “But I thought you wanted to focus on your soccer or taekwondo skills.” Yunhee smiled as looked to the ground. “I’m applying for both SMA and the soccer scholarship at the sports college.” Hoon chuckled. “As ambitious as ever. I’ll just go get them then. It’s the four seasons, right?” Yunhee nodded as she leaned against the doorframe.

Eli curiously looked at Yunhee. “You are already applying for your future? You still have a year of high school left.” Yunhee looked at Eli with a small smile. “I need to go to an audition for SMA a year before I can enter.” Eli just nodded. “And what if you get in but change your mind about it?” Yunhee shrugged. “I bet they could easily find someone else to fill the spot.” Hoon came back with some music sheets. “Here you go. I put in the violin version as well.” Yunhee’s eyes got slightly bigger. “Sunbae.. I don’t..” Hoon stopped her from talking. “You know as well as I, that you a 100% better at violin than at piano. You’ve waited enough time already.” Yunhee looked down to the ground. “You know I can’t play after what happened.” Hoon placed his hand under Yunhee’s chin, making her face him. “Yes you can. It was just a minor step back but you are ready to overcome it. It used to be your passion.” Yunhee moved Hoon’s hand away. “That door is closed.” She gave a weak smile as she looked up at Hoon. “Thank you sunbae. I’ll see you in school.” Yunhee waved as she walked away from Hoon’s house. Eli just looked at Yunhee and then to Hoon. “What happened?” Eli asked Hoon. Hoon just sighed. “It’s not my story to tell.” Hoon pushed Eli away from his door step. “I guess I’ll see you in chemistry class tomorrow. Please try and make your part of the project by then.” Eli just frowned at Hoon closed the door. “I won’t promise you anything!” Eli shouted through the door with a teasing tone to his voice. “You are gonna make all the work… As always.” Eli smiled as he walked off.

Yunhee had already reached the market when Eli finally caught up with her. “Did you power walk or something?” Yunhee just ignored him as she took out a little note with the things she needed. “So why don’t you play the violin anymore? Hoon made it sound like you were good at it.” Yunhee sighed as she looked at Eli. “I had an accident and was unable to play afterwards. Hoon has this idea that I’m over it.” Eli picked up some cucumbers and put them in their shopping cart. “How do you know you’re not? Have you played recently?” Yunhee’s eyes turned sad as she stared at the cart. “I don’t want to play.” Eli tilted his head with a curious look in his eyes. “Why not?” Yunhee’s lips turned into a thin line. “Just… Please just leave it alone.” Yunhee started to quickly get all the things she needed so she could get her mind on something else. Eli just studied her. “Why is she always like this?”

“It’s funny how we haven’t met each other before you moved in here.” Eli said as he was chopping some green onions. “What do you mean? Because we go to the same school?” Yunhee looked over at Eli. “Our parents are friends and yet they have never introduced us to each other. Well at least not you and me, since Jaeseop is in your class.” Yunhee pursed her lips. “You are right, it is kind of funny. Maybe you parents are ashamed of you so they don’t want to introduce you to anyone.” Yunhee gave a teasing smile as Eli glared at her. “I think it’s the other way around.” Yunhee narrowed her eyes. “Jerk.” Eli made a fake laugh. “Yeah? Well you are a brat.” They both gave each other death glares. “You just earned the dishes tonight.” Yunhee said as she started to prepare the rise. Eli smirked. “I’m older than you, so what makes you think you are the boss of me?” Yunhee chuckled. “The fact, that you don’t get any help with your project for tomorrow if you don’t.” Eli groaned in frustration. “Damn… I totally forgot I asked you to help.” Yunhee flashed a triumphing smile as she continued cooking.

Eli was doing the dishes as Yunhee was sitting with her homework at the kitchen counter. “What is your opinion on ?” Yunhee suddenly asked. Eli made a disgusted face. “It’s wrong and gross.” Yunhee just nodded. “Did you know that in the old days people would marry their kids away to their close cousins?” Eli raised his eyebrows. “Really? Why?” Yunhee looked up at Eli. “It was to keep the family line clean.” Eli made an “oh” expression as he returned to his dishes. “Why did you ask?” Yunhee closed her book. “Family stuff for social studies. I just wanted to hear your opinion on it.” Eli just nodded as Yunhee passed him to go to the fridge. As Yunhee was about two steps past Eli, he splashed some water on her. “YA!” Yunhee exclaimed as she whipped the water off of her white V-neck t-shirt. Eli couldn’t help but laugh as he saw Yunhee’s agitated expression. “Oh did a little water hurt the all powerful Yunhee?” Yunhee’s lips turned into a thin line. “That was dirty water! It will leave a stain!” Yunhee pointed to where the water had hit as she frowned. Eli suddenly stopped laughing as he started to stare at Yunhee’s shirt, while smirking. Yunhee hadn’t realised that the water had hit across her chest and she was wearing a dark blue bra. She noticed Eli’s look and looked down herself. “Omo..” She turned away from Eli as she was blushing like crazy. “Cute bra.. Was that white flowers?” Eli teasingly said as he chuckled. “URGH!” Yunhee groaned as she ran upstairs to change her shirt. Eli stood back in the kitchen as his smirk disappeared and he suddenly felt uneasy. Eli ran his fingers through his hair. “That was kinda hot.”

Yunhee entered the kitchen and heard Eli talk on the phone in the living room. “I’m serious babe. Hers can’t even compare to yours.” Yunhee rolled her eyes. “Her s her bigger though.” Yunhee raised her eyebrow. “She’s so gonna dump him now.” Just as Yunhee predicted she heard a distant shout from the phone. “HER S ARE BIGGER!? YOU HAVE BEEN STARING AT HER HAVEN’T YOU!? WE ARE SO OVER!” Yunhee couldn’t help but chuckle at she heard Eli try and explain himself, without luck of course. She heard Eli groan as he threw himself on the couch. “So the school flirt got dumped huh? What a shock!” Yunhee said as she entered the living room with a big grin on her face. Eli just glared up at her. “Why did you even say that? Her s are bigger…” Yunhee shook her head. ”Try and use your mind just once in a while.” Eli took one of the small couch pillows and threw it at Yunhee’s face. Yunhee quickly dodged it but tripped over the carpet and fell onto Eli’s lap. Eli smirked as he wrapped his arms around Yunhee, preventing her from getting off.

“Let go.” Yunhee tried her best to keep cool, even though she was screaming on the inside. “No. I like this position.” Eli tightened his grip around Yunhee’s waist and brought her closer to him. He placed his lips close to Yunhee’s ear. “I like this very much indeed.” Yunhee’s face turned flustered as she tried to get of the situation. “You don’t seem like someone who has just been dumped.” Eli just chuckled as he pressed Yunhee as close to his body as he could. “Let me tell you a little secret… I compared her to you.” Yunhee’s eyes went wide as she just stared at Eli, who was dangerously close to her now. “You are a C-cup, right?” Eli looked to Yunhee’s chest. Yunhee blushed as she covered her chest with her arms. She shook her head to get a grip of herself. “And what if I am?” Eli locked eyes with Yunhee. “Then it’s just how I like them.” Yunhee’s eyes got even bigger. “You are such a ert!” Eli started to move his hands over her back. “Ya… Let go.” Yunhee said with a low voice as she once again tried to get off of Eli, by pressing her hands against his chest. Not her best choice.

Eli looked down to the hands on his chest as his smirk became more devious. “Let’s freak her out a little.” Eli made a pleased sigh as he looked straight into Yunhee’s eyes. He could clearly see she was surprised to get that reaction. He moved his left hand behind Yunhee’s neck and made her face move even closer to his. “Eli..” Yunhee shyly said as her hands on Eli’s chest started to clench. Eli kept his gaze into Yunhee’s nervous eyes. “Are you getting uncomfortable, Yunhee?” The way Eli said her name made Yunhee shiver. Yunhee broke their gaze as she took a deep breath. “Let go of me.” Eli tilted his head. “Are you sure?” His voice turned seductive as he gently pressed his lips against Yunhee’s exposed neck. Yunhee froze in her position as her eyes got big. “WHAT THE… Oh my god, what do I do!? WHAT DO I DO?” Eli continued to kiss her neck until she let out a small sigh, which she did her best to hold back. Yunhee could feel him smirk against her neck. He pulled away and made Yunhee face him. He chuckled when he saw her red and flustered face. “You are the best fighter I have ever seen. I’ll break you at some point.” Eli flashed a breathtaking smile as he gently pushed Yunhee off of himself. “Come to my room and help me with chemistry, okay?.” Eli kissed Yunhee forehead and walked off. Yunhee sat back on the couch with a blank look on her face. “W-what was that? Break me? This can’t be good… Aish, why did I have to fall on his lap?!” Yunhee sighed as she threw her head back. Even though Yunhee was afraid of what Eli was doing, she hadn’t felt uncomfortable. “His lips were pretty soft.. Wait what? I can’t think like that! There is no way I will ever give into that bastard. He’s not gonna win this easy.”
