Meeting Myung Soo

Bittersweet Coffee

"OH OH OH KSJHDAKJSHDKJHSDKJASD"

We both screamed incoherent words as we realised that police were after us.

As if reading my mind, Seo Chan said," Wait… They said two guys and one girl… That means no one saw you."

I breathed a sigh of relief, sinking back into the hotel bed but Seo Chan wasn’t finished.

"There’s an INFINITE fansign event today and I can’t go because you know… Can you please go in my place? PLEASEEEEEE," Seo Chan stared at my with pleading eyes and I caved in.

"Fine. But you owe me," I muttered as she ran about screaming. ‘There was never going to be a quiet day with Seo Chan around,’ I sighed to myself as I packed my bag, ready to tackle the fan lines awaiting me.

---

Two hours had passed and the line seemed to shrink backwards. I was in a sea of curious eyes, doubtful that I was what they called a ‘natural beauty.’ I rolled my eyes and put on my sunglasses and put my earphones in. Noticing that the gossiping had gotten louder even though I had earphones on(You know, the crowd wasn’t being subtle about it. They were pointing and ogling at me) I proceeded to turn on my phone to ease the pain of waiting in a line for so long.

---

Finally, I was at the fan signing table. I pulled out the various INFINITE and Kim Myung Soo merchandise Seo Chan had instructed to me to get autographed.

"Annyeonghasaeyo, Chal ji-nae-shŏ-ssŏ-yo?"

A guy with a wide smile exposing his gums greeted me. I nodded meekly.

"Hello. I’m fine thanks"

The confused look on his face reminded me that I was in Korea, not Australia.

"Ah! Mianhe! Chal ji-nae-ssŏ-yo"

I moved to the end of the line where a guy who looked like Kim Myung Soo sat. He waved off his previous fan and turned towards his next fan-a.k.a me.

Myung Soo’s POV (Point of View)

"Annyeong!," I fake smiled to a fan as she ran away squealing. I wriggled my mouth around. It was really hard to keep smiling for three hours straight. I turned around to see a girl with deep brown hair holding a lot of merchandise. For some reason, I was curious to see what she looked like. Her hair hid her face and her sunglasses obscured her eyes. She didn’t seem to be a fan of INFINITE. Her eyes cast a faraway look- almost as if she was here by force.

"Annyeonghasaeyo, Chal ji-nae-shŏ-ssŏ-yo?"

"Annyeong," She mumbled, her voice pure and sweet, luring me like flowers did to bees. She looked up, her eyes pierced through her sunglasses and met mine for a split second before her phone rang, breaking the contact.

"Dude. Stop screaming or I won’t get you your autographs," She spoke into her phone. I tried to make sense of it- She could speak er Engrish was it?

I quickly signed her merchandise as she chatted away into the phone. Adding an extra heart at the end, I knew that this was probably not for her but I hoped that one day, she could see it.

"Thankyou!, she smiled as she leaned forward to collect all of the goods. She bent down, her sunglasses falling down. I picked it up and handed it to her as she glanced at me whilst struggling with her mountain of merchandise.

"Annyeong!," I smiled, secretly wishing I could see her again.

"Yah!" Woo Hyun whacked me with his marker. This time, I didn’t mind.
