Morning after

Bittersweet Coffee

Seo Chan’s POV (Point of View)

I woke up to the late rays of sunshine and I pinched myself making sure I was still alive. I touched my face and I winced as my fingernail accidentally tore a scab open.

Where was Amelia?

I sat up straight and saw that she was sprawled across the floor amidst first aid supplies. It teared me up how much she worried about me. Swinging my leg over the covers, I stepped into my slippers, noticing the bruises on my legs. I sighed and began o tidy up the mess on the floor, careful not to wake Amelia up. ‘I might as well tidy up the whole room," I thought to myself as I tidied the Kim Myung Soo merchandise up. I stared at the merchandise, a poster triggering my memory.

Last night, I thought I saw him step over the unconscious bodies with an intrigued look on his face before disappearing into the darkness of some alleyway. I was really puzzled- What was Kim Myung Soo doing walking by himself in the dead of the night?

I thought no more as Amelia awoke, surprised to have seen me awake already.

"Mornin Sister," I laughed and switched on the television, flipping through the channels where one of them was showing Shut Up Flower Boy Band. Amelia sighed, figuring that I was back to my old self and made a move for the remote control to change the channel.

We fought over the channels, her flipping through random channels and me switching back to Kim Myung Soo’s drama. IN the end she won, partly because my body was still sore from last night’s brawl.

"Good morning viewers," Amelia placed the translator near the tv," This is Korea News. Yesterday a fight occurred on the streets of ________. Witnesses describe seeing two males and one female but their faces couldn’t clearly be seen as they were moving too fast." Amelia and I looked at each other as the newswoman continued," Anyone with any information regarding this incident, please report to _____."

Amelia switched off the tv, her face pale with worry.

"Oh "
