Description
"Let's Break Up." He had said it in such a low tone, if they weren’t alone she wouldn’t have picked it up but she did and those three words broke her heart.
Something wasn't right. It just wasn't, and was going to find out. She was going into this battlefield with her mind set and ablaze. Why did it even happen? Who was behind all this madness? Did she really want to know? But she was going, because it was for him, the person she still loved with all her heart. She needed to find out why he had said it so abruptly. She needed an explanation, that was the only way she could find a way to heal her heart.
This was for her, it was for her safety. He still loved her. No matter where he was and no matter how many times he almost begged. Because it was her, and he would do anything, even sacrifice himself for the sake of someone else. He was going to keep her safe, not matter what the cost.
“I’ll always be thankful. I love you.” He whispered to the wind wanting someone to pick up this desperate call, his final farewell.
Foreword
Starting Today is a story about love that has blossomed, but torn apart by a force that is not at their control. This story tests the limits of the charactes mental state and brings you to the world of what the girl feels. The girl without any description of herself other than her feelings, is free to your choosing of her appearance and free to what you believe fits her description. As two people who have lost their beginning find it within themselves to start anew with one another. Starting Today gives us hope (and maybe tingles) that maybe, just maybe, love can prevail over some reality.
