Chapter 12   Xiumin Pov   *Cough! Cough!*     I woke up in the middle of the night with some more chest pains.     I sat up and rubbed my chest in annoyance.      This has been happening for about 2 weeks. I guess it's because I'm just getting over the cancer.      I shuffled out of bed and went into the bathroom to take some pain medication.      I opened the cabinet and took the small prescription bottle and a filled the small glass on the counter with water. I took two of the small round pills from the bottle and popped them in my mouth.      "Hopefully this pain goes away so I can sleep." I pouted and shuffled back to bed quietly.     When I woke up that morning my chest still hurt but not as bad as last night so I guess it's ok. I mean I have been having pain in my chest since I got over the cancer but they weren't this bad. This is annoying.      "You ok Minnie? You look like crap." My mom said as I stepped into the kitchen. I sighed.     "I'm ok mom my chest just hurts a little." She nodded her head and passed me a cup of orange juice when I sat down at the table. I looked around and noticed Ms. Park wasn't here making breakfast.     It's rare to see my mom in the kitchen…the last time I saw in here was when I got back from the hospital when we found out about the cancer. She sat here and cried for days…I never saw here though. Ms. Park told me about it. She said my mom wouldn't move from the table no matter how hard she tried to get her up. I stayed in my room…under the covers      "I gave Ms. Park the rest of the week off. I…I wanted us to spend sometime together. If that's ok…" She said almost shyly as she sipped on her coffee. I smiled wide. I don't remember the last time me and my mom spent the day together.      "That sounds like fun mom. What should we do today?" She sat there in deep thought.     "I would say we should go to the park but it seems your to old for that now huh." She giggled and I shrugged my shoulders with a smile.     "Hey I still have more fun then the little kids do when I'm at the park." We giggled.     "You go to the park…with Jongdae?" I bit my lip and sipped on my orange juice. I know she doesn't mean it in a bad way or anything I guess I just got shy.     "Yeah…we went there on our first…umm…"      "Date?"      I silently nodded. I never actually told her what me and Jongdae were. I don't know how she would react.     "Don't be shy Minseok! It's ok. I'm not gonna judge you or anything." She smiled and grabbed my hand that I didn't realize was bundled in a tight fist. But I quickly loosened my grip.     "Do you have a picture of him?" She asked cheerfully. I took my phone from my pocket and flipped through the many pictures of me and Jongdae. I showed her one of him while we were at the park and he was playing with the grass.     "He's cute." She giggled and flipped through some more pictures. She looked up at me and smirked.     "I see you like him very much." She held the phone up and I blushed.     She seemed to come across the picture Jongdae took when he decided to lay a huge kiss on my lips. My hands layed comfortably on his chest and gripped the soft material of his shirt tight.     "M-mom don't look at that!" I took my phone away from her as she laughed like a teenager.      "It's ok sweetie. I was a kid once too. I was the same way when I met…your father…" She smiled gently at me but I could tell she was hurt. I didn't know much about my dad but I knew he was my mothers first kiss, first boyfriend, first everything.     "So mom what do you want to do today?" She shook her said slowly and took a sip of he coffee.     "Maybe we can get go out shopping. We haven't gone together in a while. Plus…you need some new clothes. You have been wearing the same
