Chapter Nineteen

ZELO’S POV

                Tomorrow’s my birthday and I can’t sleep. I’m planning to confess to Taeri tomorrow. I’m nervous, these past few days I’ve been a jerk and it’s hard to know if she’ll accept me with what I’ve been doing. I’m being an overzealous ‘cuz she’s been giving attention to someone and that someone is not me, it’s Jongup hyung.

                My phone rang but I didn’t answer it. Taeri moved beside me. My phone kept ringing and that woke Taeri up.

                “Zelo! Your phone!”

                “What about my phone?”

                “It’s noisy! Make it stop!”

                “What if I don’t want to?”

                “I’ll cut your balls and feed them to the sharks.”

                “But we don’t have any sharks at home.” I said just to irritate her more. He pinched my side and I groaned. Jongup hyung’s name flashed on the screen. Speaking of the devil. “Yeoboseyo?”

                “Uh Zelo, can I talk to Taeri?” he asked.

                “Taeri!” I screamed near her ear.

                “Yah! What’s your problem?”

                I just gave her my phone and lay in our bed. She glared at me before answering the phone.

                “Yeoboseyo?” she said grumpily. “Oh, Jongup oppa!” her tone changed. “No, I was not sleeping.” She said in a sickeningly sweet voice. “It’s okay, oppa. Why did you call?” a few seconds of silence and I noticed her smile drop but she kept her voice sweet. “Oh, Himchan oppa?
