Thirteenth Chapter: Let Out The Truth
Breaking Through CirclesSehun yawned and opened his eyes. He touched his head and realized that it felt better than before, the room didn't look like it's spinning anymore.
Slowly, he got off the bed, a little bit wobbly when he stood up but he regained his balance right away. He just dreamt of Luhan being there. How he wished it was real.
The clink clank of metal from the kitchen downstairs made him scrunched his brows. Is there a possibility that a thief broke in? But the sounds were similar to that of someone cooking and well, what kind of thief would cook in his victim's kitchen?
He quietly went down and peeked, only to have his body freeze as soon as he saw who it is.
Luhan was humming a light tune, with a boiling pot in front of him. It seemed like he was too focused with his task to notice the younger.
Sehun cleared his throat to get his attention. It kinda hurt, his throat was really dry and sore at the moment.
"O-Oh.. good morning" greeted Luhan in obvious awkwardness, "I'm sorry I used your kitchen without permission, I'm just making breakfast"
"It's fine..." Sehun faltered, he didn't know what to say.
"Are you okay now?"
"Yes"
Another silence, only the sound of bubblig water decorated the quiet room.
"It's morning already?"
"Y..yes, I accidently slept on the couch" said Luhan, slightly trembling as he spoke.
Sehun bit his lips. How painful it must had been for Luhan to sleep at that damned couch, where he was .
"I'm done. It's chicken soup. I'm sorry, I'm not that good in cooking" Luhan said, putting the pot on the dining table, "Well.. I'll be going then.."
"No, please stay" said Sehun desperately.
Luhan looked contemplating for a while before nodding. The Chinese took two bowls and some eating utensils, then proceeded to set the table.
