Pairing: Myungyeon, Woohyun, Hyomin

Plot: Myungsoo is a well-known young doctor in Korea. He and Woohyun (doctor) has been best friend since they were in high school. Jiyeon is Woohyun beloved sister and has a weak body that make her brother and her bestie (Hyomin) always take care of her. One day, she accidently bumped into Myungsoo when she was visiting her brother at the hospital...

“Remember that kid who wore huge spectacle to school every day?” Myungsoo reminded which chuckling, “He had that spectacle which covered his whole face! And he looked like Harry Potter!”

Woohyun laughed and nodded his head in agreement. “I remembered! His name was Park Gwijoon! He used to sit behind me and always, I repeat, he always told me to move lower because I’m so tall.”

“But I heard he grew so handsome, maybe the same level at Lee Jongsuk.”

“Seriously?!” Woohyun gasped and raised a brow in disbelief, “Oh man… He used to be the ugliest student in class.”

Myungsoo laughed at his comment and recalled another student, “Than… How about Im Yoonmi? She used to be the beauty princess in school! But I saw her the other day at the mall. Oh God, guess how she looked like now!”

“How?! How?! What happened to her?” Woohyun eagerly asked in return.

“She turned fat! I can’t believe it! She turned so round. I bet she eat a lot these few years.” Myungsoo stated in disbelieved.

“Then? Did you say hi to her?”

“Yeah, I did. I said hi. But she said she doesn’t know who I am and she ran away.”

Woohyun laughed loudly and slapped his laps in defeat. “Oh God… Things have changed so much over the past few years!”

“Yeah… Things changed a lot.” Myungsoo agreed.

*Knock knock*

“Come in.”

“Dr. Kim. There’s a patient looking for you. She insisted you to feed her medicine.”

Myungsoo chuckled, “Again? She always wants that.”

“But that’s your job.” Woohyun laughed. “Go on… You have to make sure every patient eat their medicine.” He patted his shoulder and left the room for his rounds.

Myungsoo too, stood away from his seat and left the room to that particular patient.

“Good morning, Kyungmi-ah~” Myungsoo entered the ward and walked towards her bed. 

“DR. KIM!” Kyungmi beamed widely and stood up on the bed.

“Hey hey, what did I say?” Myungsoo pointed at her and asked playfully. Kyungmi sighed and sat down on the bed but the grin was still tugged on her face.

“No jumping on bed.”

“That’s right.” Myungsoo smiled and patted the 9-year-old girl’s head. “Come on, eat your medicine or you won’t get better.”

Kyungmi took the spoon of syrup and placed them into obediently. “So can I play with Dr. Kim now?”

Myungsoo frowned sadly and pretended to looked sad, “Hmmm… What to do? Dr. Kim has to work.”

“Why???” Kyunmi whined and pouted sadly, “Then, at least until pretty unnie come to play with me?!”

“Who is pretty unnie?” Myungsoo raised a brow in confusion.

“She is pretty and she is my unnie!”

“I thought you’re the only child, Kyungmi-ah? Did you lie to Dr. Kim?!”

Kyungmi shook her head innocently, “No! Kyungmi is the only child! But pretty unnie is my new unnie! She always come to the hospital and plays with me! Dr. Kim, do you want to see her?! Unnie is pretty!”

Myungsoo pretended to think about it, “Hmmm… Maybe that’s-”

“Dr. Kim! Emergency, ward 43.”

Myungsoo turned back to Kyungmi and patted her head, “Dr. Kim has to work now, alright? See you later!”

And he rushed off to ward 43, leaving Kyungmi sighing on the bed.

“Pretty unnie… Come and play with me…”

Myungsoo finally finished the emergency surgery to save a life back. He rotated his stiff neck once he exited the theatre room and headed back to his room.

He turned around the corner at the end of the hallway but only to receive a shock since there was a girl hiding behind the wall, trying to scare someone.

“BOOOOO!!!!!”

Myungsoo jumped back with a hand on his chest while staring at the girl with his eyes wide.

The girl gasped in shocked and had her eyes widened too. “Ommo! I’m so sorry! I boo the wrong person!”

“UNNIE~~~”

The girl squatted down to her height and picked her up, “Kyungmi-ah~ Help me apologize to Dr. please? I just scared the wrong person! Unnie thought it was you!”

Kyungmi giggled behind her palms and patted the girl’s head, “Unnie~ It’s okay! Dr. Kim is a good person! He won’t get angry! Right, Dr. Kim?”

“Yeah…”

The girl looked back at Myungsoo and bowed slightly again, “I’m so sorry.”

“It’s alright.” Myungsoo laughed and waved it off. “I’m fine. Look! I’m still alive! It’s not like your scare can kills me.”

Jiyeon chuckled and buried her red face into Kyungmi’s hair which melted Myungsoo at once. “So this is the pretty unnie you’re talking about, Kyungmi-ah?”

Kyungmi nodded her head and hugged her tightly. “Dr. Kim! This is Jiyeon. She is pretty unnie! And unnie, he is Dr. Kim!”

Jiyeon nodded her head in understanding, “So this is the doctor you have a crush on?! He’s Dr. Kim!”

Kyungmi yelped and cupped which made her giggled under her palm, “Unnie! SHHHH!!!!”

Myungsoo laughed at the two and patted Kyungmi’s head, “Lee Kyungmi. It’s time for you to rest now, and no more running next time, you hear me?”

“Yes, Dr. Kim. Can you do me a favor, Dr. Kim?”

“Yes? What do you want me to do?” Myungsoo smiled warmly while her cheeks.

“Can you forget what pretty unnie say?! Kyungmi doesn’t have a crush on Dr. Kim! Kyungmi wants Dr. Kim and pretty unnie together!”

Jiyeon widened her eyes and cupped Kyungmi’s mouth, “This kid! Kyungmi-ah! What nonsense are you talking about?!”

Myungsoo decided to make her happy and smiled. “Of course, Kyungmi-ah. Dr. Kim will forget about it. Now can you go back to your bed and rest?”

“Yes, Dr. Kim!” Kyungmi said excitedly then.

Jiyeon bowed and turned around to her ward. Along the way, they were bickering about Dr. Kim which Myungsoo could hear clearly from where he stood. All he could do was to let out a chuckle as he saw them disappeared into the room.

He returned to his room after that, but his smile was on his face the whole time. Woohyun, who was already in his room, raised a brow and looked at him confusingly, “What happened to you? Why are you so happy?”

Myungsoo sat down on his chair and sighed in bliss. “First, I saved a life.”

“You always do that.” Woohyun cut in which received a glare from the doctor on his seat. “Fine fine, continue please, Dr. Kim.”

Myungsoo chuckled before continuing, “Second, I found someone so pretty that I’ve ever met before! Kyungmi said she is her pretty unnie and I really agree with her. She is so beautiful!”

“So? Did you get her number?” Woohyun wriggled his eyebrows playfully.

“Nah~ She went back to Kyungmi’s ward. I bet she will come here again so I can meet her again!”

“Wow.” Woohyun was slightly taken aback. He had never seen his best friend so obsessed with something before. “Don’t tell me you love her? You just met her! You don’t even know her!”

“From what I see, she is a pure kind-hearted girl. She looked young though, maybe in her late 10s. I just felt different when I see her. I’m not sure if it’s love though.” Myungsoo smiled dreamily as he recalled her features, “She’s soooooo~ pretty.”

Woohyun rolled his eyes playfully in return, “Did you catch her name or something? That’s the most important part. Don’t tell me you would call her ‘pretty unnie’ too.”

“I know her name~” Myungsoo sang as he turned his chair around. “She has a nice name~”

“What is it?” That made Woohyun curious, “Come on. Tell me what it is!”

“Her name is-”

*Knock knock*

“Come in.”

“Dr. Kim. Kyungmi is asking for you again.”

Myungsoo smiled and patted Woohyun’s back lightly, “Tough luck, buddy. Maybe next time~ I’m off to meet her!” And he left the room, leaving the curious Woohyun behind.

But all he could do was to sigh in defeat and went back to his room for his appointment with his dearest patient.

Myungsoo strolled into the room quickly and happily, “Hey, Kyungmi-ah~”

Kyungmi raised a brow and looked at Myungsoo weirdly, “Dr. Kim? Are you okay? Why are you so happy today? Usually you won’t be like this!”

“Who said so?!” Myungsoo demanded, “I’m always like this!”

“No! You did not!” Kyungmi declared in return.

“Fine fine.” He finally gave in after countless arguments with her. “Where’s your pretty unnie?”

Kyungmi smirked and looked at him playfully, “You like pretty unnie, right?”

“No.” Myungsoo replied as he looked elsewhere, avoiding her eye contact, “Who said that? I didn’t say that.”

“Come on. Your face says so.” Kyungmi giggled at him. “But pretty unnie is not here. She said she has appointment with someone in the hospital.”

“In the hospital?” Myungsoo raised a brow, “Is she sick? She looks fine to me though.”

Kyungmi shrugged her shoulders, “I have no idea. Jiyeon unnie won’t tell Kyungmi. She said Kyungmi is too young to know so she doesn’t want me to be worried.”

“If she said that… It should be something big.” Myungsoo analyzed her words. “Did she say who she is meeting with?”

“Nope~” Kyungmi sang. “But let me tell you a secret, Dr. Kim. Jiyeon pretty unnie said not to say.”

“Okay. I promise I will keep it too!” Myungsoo agreed and took out his pinkie finger, “Promise!”

Kyungmi took it with hers and sealed it. “Pretty unnie said she likes you! She said Dr. Kim is so handsome and cute! She also said that she is happy when Kyungmi wants you and unnie together.”

Myungsoo brightened up with a wide beam on his face, “She said that?! She said all that?!”

“Yup!” Kyungmi nodded her head honestly. “Pretty unnie said all that before she left.”

“ASSA!” Myungsoo jumped in happiness while pumping her fist in the air, “Do you think I can ask her out? You want us together, don’t you?”

Kyungmi, once again, nodded her head as a response.

“Alright! I will get pretty unnie! Don’t tell pretty unnie I like her too! Let me tell her by myself.” Myungsoo winked and left the ward to find out where she had her appointment in this big hospital.

After realizing his own foolishness to not know her surname, he found out there are tons of ‘Jiyeon’ in this world. There was no use to look up the records since there will be hundreds, or maybe thousands of her name.

He sighed dejectedly and headed over to his best friend’s room for help.

“Woohyun-ah~” Myungsoo charged into the room without even knocking which made the patient jumped since she was wearing her shirt back from the gown after taking an  x-ray.

“Kim Myungsoo!” Woohyun hissed and stood in front of the girl protectively. “Don’t you ever know how to knock?!”

“Sorry.” Myungsoo mumbled. “I thought you have no appointment now…”
