Pairing: Myungyeon 

Plot: Myungsoo is an amazing photographer. He loved to take pictures around him. One day, he went to the grassland is not far from his home. As he was taking pictures, he saw Jiyeon was standing in the middle of grassland and Myungsoo became interested in her.

“JIYEON NOONA!”

“UNNIE!!!!!!!!!!”

Jiyeon giggled to herself and hid herself away, behind a huge pillar, from those little kids who were looking for her.

“NOONA!!!!”

“JIYEON UNNIE! COME OUT!!!!!!”

She placed a fist over to hold her giggles back in and tried to take a peek over her shoulders, out to the hallway.

“NOONA’S HERE!”

Wrong move!

She was being discovered.

Jiyeon giggled and brought the little 5-years-old boy up in her arms and tickled his sides happily, “Minhyukie found me!”

And soon, all the kids rushed over to her side and laughed alongside her.

“JIYEON-AH!”

A loud call for her was heard. Jiyeon gasped and placed Minhyuk down before hiding behind his small frame, although it’s of no use, she just wanted to make the kids laugh.

“DADDY! NOONA IS HERE!” Minhyuk, being the most mischievous one, called the orphanage’s chairman over. He was their ‘father’ for nth years already.

The chairman laughed and walked over to them, “Jiyeon-ah! Are you hiding again? You know I can see you clearly, behind our Minhyukie.”

Jiyeon pouted and looked at the kids, “You guys always do that.”

The kids laughed and went over to hug her legs tightly, “IT’S BECAUSE NOONA’S EXPRESSION IS FUNNY!”

Jiyeon laughed with them and looked at the chairman with her palms on the kids’ head, “Daddy, you called for me?”

That’s right.

Jiyeon was also an orphan. She was up for adoption but whenever adults came over, she would take her name and information off the list.

The chairman gave up in the end, and allowed her to stay in the orphanage and helped him out instead. Well, he always wanted a lovable daughter like her so he doesn’t mind it at all.

“I need help, princess. We have to get the gallery up. The photographer will be here soon and his photographs will be up for sale in the gallery.”

“And the money goes to him? Why should we lend him the land?” Jiyeon frowned and crossed her arms angrily, making the kids following her footsteps.

The chairman laughed and looked at his kids, “my little ones, don’t follow your big sister! She’s nothing but trouble!”

Jiyeon gasped playfully and glared at the chairman, “MR. LEE!? I’M YOUR DAUGHTER, MIND YOU!”

The kids laughed at her which allowed her to follow along now. She too, laughed at the atmosphere between them.

“Anyways, the photographer will have his pictures printed out and framed for us. He won’t be taking the money but he will be donating them to us, for our land. We can buy it over then. He’s actually a son of my good friend and he’s a famous photographer, which explained why he was willing to help us. So you tell me, princess. Should we lend him our land?”

Jiyeon laughed and clapped her hands happily. Her mood changed 180 degree. “YES, OF COURSE! OH GOD! HOW COULD THERE STILL BE SUCH A KIND GUY EXIST?!”

“Now kids… Did I say that your big sister is a weird girl too?” The chairman giggled and looked at the kids, waiting for their reply.

“YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“That’s right. She’s weird!” He continued and turned away to head back to the lobby where the gallery will be held that night. “Come on, kids. I need your help to decorate the lobby for the gallery tomorrow.”

The kids, with Jiyeon, followed him in glee and went to the lobby to help out with the decorations.

And soon, the next day came.

“The photographer will be here by noon. So it’s free time now! Do whatever you want, kids.” The chairman announced which made the kids jumped in happiness.

“I’m out, daddy. You know I hate events like this.” Jiyeon picked up her cardigan and put it over her flowery dress.

“I know, princess. Go and enjoy yourself but be back before midnight.”

“Daddy, I’m not Cinderella anymore.” Jiyeon giggled and pecked his cheek, “I’ll be back before midnight.”

“That’s my girl.” The chairman laughed and pushed her out of his room, “Enjoy your day, Cinderella.”

The photographer arrived soon and had his photographs printed out on the spot. He made them into frames and placed it on the designated spots in the lobby.

Soon, one by one, the lobby was filled with guests from all over the world. Even the famous artist from France was there, just to grab a photograph home.

The whole event was fruitful, and as promised, the profits all went to the orphanage.

“Thank you, Myungsoo-ssi.”

Myungsoo smiled and shook the hand in front of him, “My pleasure. I’m happy to open a gallery here to help all the orphans.” 

The chairman of the orphanage patted his shoulders with a bright smile, “Thanks to you, we have tons of money for the building. We can buy the land over for the children. Your father will be so proud of you.”

Myungsoo beamed widely, “I’m happy to be of help. Did I sell all my photographs?”

The chairman laughed in glee, “Yes, you did! The photographs you put up in the gallery were all sold. In high prices, I might add. The one sold with the highest price was actually a frame of our grassland. Did you take it on your way here? It looked the best in my opinion too. Was it a long ride here?”

Myungsoo nodded his head, agreeing with him, “I took it on my way here. Thank goodness. It showed how awesome this place is. Oh, and it’s not a long ride. I lived near this town.”

“Right. You want to take a look around the place? I’m sure you’re free now, aren’t you?”

Myungsoo nodded his head and stood up, “I think I just have to walk around.”

“You can stay here for days. I have a free room over there, right at the end.” The chairman pushed him all the way to the empty room even though Myungsoo rejected humbly.

“Come on, stay here for all you want. This room is empty anyway.”

Myungsoo smiled and went into the room, “it looked nice and comfy.”

The chairman laughed and took his luggage into the room for him, “I’m sure you will like it here. Take a walk around the area if you want, it relaxes you.”

“Thank you so much, Mr. Lee.”

The chairman patted his shoulder and left the room, leaving him to himself.

Myungsoo took his camera, hooked them around his neck and left his room after he had settled in. He had nowhere in mind to go, so he decided to wander about the town to catch a few nice shots in his camera.

He decided to use his feet instead of the convenience of cars to catch good shots though.

It’s quite a distance, but he doesn’t mind it at all.

Instead, he loved it. He loved this kind of trip which always relaxed him. That’s one of the reasons which he agreed to open a gallery in an old town like this.

He always loved travelling around the world and around small towns where he could take perfect shots for memento.

He walked down the streets with the camera in his hands, clicking every moment he found good angles for his camera.

And indeed, he caught a few nice shots of the scenery: the sunset, the cloudy mountains from far, the huge and wide sea with no ends, and many other types of scenery he could see in the town. It was a town filled with awesome angles for his camera and he absolutely loved it.

Without knowing, he walked back to the huge piece of grassland he passed by previously.

And it was the same grassland which was sold for the highest price in the gallery that noon.

Having the urge to snap his camera again, he picked it up, which was hung around his neck, and held it up to his face.

*CLICK*

He tugged the camera down and pressed the ‘preview’ button to view it.

“Perfect.”

It was a perfect shot of the huge piece of grassland, shining under the sunlight of the setting sun.

He was about to take one more photo of this awesome scenery, but his eyes returned back to the screen on the camera.

He focused on it and realized there’s an extra figure in it.

He brought it up closer to his eyes and examined it.

The closer he looked, the more it looked like human to him.

To add on to the fact, it’s a girl. It’s a female human in his photograph.

He widened his eyes and looked up from the camera, back to the big piece of green landscape.

Indeed, from afar, a human being was running about the land, under a lone tree in the middle, on top of the small hill.

A smile began to tug on his face unknowingly, and he began to step forward, walking nearer to the human girl.

The closer he was the higher urge he felt to take photo of her.

And he did.

He picked up his camera, held it in front of his eyes and looked into the small hole. He placed it in a perfect angle, and snapped the button.

*CLICK*

“Perfect shot. Angel.”

That was the three words he whispered out when he looked at the taken photo on his camera.

The girl was now closer, and clearer, and her facial expression was priceless. She was happily running about the grassland, her hair was flowing against the wind silkily and her dress was flying against the wind too.

“Hi!!”

Myungsoo snapped out from his daydream and looked up from his camera but only to see that angel from the photograph in front of him.

“Hi…?”

The lady in front of her giggled elegantly which amused him the most. *Angel…*
